  1. I like the speed of Firefox and use it most often, like all the plug-ins available too. I also like Maxthon, the tabbed browsing within Maxthon seems to be better to me.
  2. On Comcast Cable here.. love it.
  3. As far as I know, you cannot 'recall' Hotmail messages like you can do in Outlook/Exchange.
  4. 2001 was a great movie in my opinion... definitely a good watch.
  5. I've had to take a break from buying components due to financial woes. Hate the curve balls from left field ya know. Should be able to buy everything soon and will update.
  6. Yeah I knew that I was all good as long as I had the newest def file... thanks.
  7. For some reason I cannot update my ad-aware to the most current version. I'm stuck on Ad-Aware SE Personal Build 1.06r1 and cannot upgraded to 1.06. Tried installing over the current version first, info said the same version. I then unistalled completly, restarted, then reinstalled, still said Build 1.06r1. I uninstalled again, then searched and cleared everything from the registry left that said lavasoft or ad-aware, rebooted, reinstalled again and still the same thing. Any ideas????
  8. How is the hub conencted into the switch? Make sure you have the uplink from the switch top the hub connected correctly. Are all the computers that are connected to the switch getting IP addresses? Does the hub have activity lights on the connected ports?
  9. Sup Matt... did some tinkering and found a feasable answer to your problem. Open the cmd prompt > click in the very top left of the window where it says C:\ > properties > check QuickEdit mode under Edit Options. Save it for future use. Now all you have to do is use ctrl + c anywhere in windows and copy something into memory and then in the command window click the right mouse button once and it'll auto paste what's in memory. Not ctrl + v, but easier then right click > paste. Hope this helps.
  10. A Raptor w/ a 3.4, 2x512 ddr2 800 pc6400 should install faster then a SATA II though I would think. I've heard 6~8 minutes for non nlited XP Pro. Just wish there was a 10k drive on SATA II.
  11. You never know, in 20 years a Petabyte may be the norm. Although it is insane, but 10 years ago who ever thought they'd have a TB?? It is a crap load of space though, we may never get there lol.
  12. I'd like to eventually be able to do the same thing... I have a digi cable as well through comcast, but not sure if anything but the box can decode the signal? Maybe a splitter out of the box to coax to the card?
  13. LOL... yeah, those will be the days! We'll be complaining that 400 Petabytes aren't enough... haha.
  14. Well I hope they come out with a SATA II first as I have SATA II controllers, hehe. I think that another manufacturer should jump in the 10k arena, give WD a little competition and bring those prices down.
  15. Thats what I figured ripken. Thanks for confirming that. It just seems like, why have this insane rotation speed compared to most drives but not have it on a SATA II interface yet? I understand, takes time, blah blah. My ultimate goal is infact to have 2 of the Raptors is Raid0. Thanks again.
  16. Curious on what your thoughts were about this. Which drive would be better a 10k Raptor using SATA150 or a drive using SATA II @ 7,200? My bet would still be on the Raptor, just wish there was a 10k SATA II drive out there. Do they even exist? Thanks guys.
  17. I have tried posting this question in the Software Forum and got no response... I guess it should have been here. For some reason when I try to reply to an email in Outlook Express Web access, in the subject area where I normally reply I now get a grayed out box with the infamous red x in the top left hand corner. Everything had been fine for over a year when suddenly I could not reply. Any ideas PLEASE?? I need this access for work.
  18. It seems you're right Bledd... sorry bout that, when I was introduced to the shortcut the person that showed me used Ctrl + Alt + Print Screen and I've just used it ever since. It appears that just doing Alt + Print Screen captures only the active window w/o needing the Ctrl key
  19. Glad to hear it... I use that combo all the time, quite helpful.
  20. I'm sorry... I meant to say Microsoft Outlook Web Access. I access it via normal HTTP to the excahnge server to read mail. If anyone can help, PLEASE let me know this is annoying and I need to reply to these msgs. It was working fine for over a year, now all of a sudden, nothing. @Admins, if you need, please move this topic to the Office forum... I'm sorry
  21. Also... just FYI, if you only want to print screen a certain applicaion like for example a non maximized web site or anything else that's 'active' just hit and hold Ctrl + Alt + Print Screen. Then just paste as usual and the only thing you will get is a print screen of the currently active window .
  22. I'm building one right now too... here's a couple of things I'd recommend: Motherboard - ASUS P5WD2 Premium $209 CPU - P4 640 3.2GHz $216.50 P4 650 3.4GHz $267.85 or the P4 660 3.6GHz $412 HD - Western Digital Raptor 74GB @ 10,000 rpm WD740GD $181 RAM - (2) 2x512 Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 PC2 6400 $198 Thats all I can recommend at the time, check out my thread where I am building a new computer as well and wanting component suggestions. I would like to hear recommendations on the Vid Card and DVD burner as well. Since you're looking for gaming, someone may suggest a good SLI board, however the P5WD2 is a great board and soon should be able to support SLI. P.S. Thanks jcarle!
  23. Looks like I have some testing to do to find the one that fits my needs. Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
