  1. I'm having trouble getting IP addresses for some of my computers on my network. The way I have things setup is that the cable modem iis connected to the router and the router is setup as my DHCP server to deligate the IP addresses. Then from the router it connects to a 24 port switch. Some computers are hooked up directly to the switch while others are routed through another hub. the ones routed through the hubs are not getting an IP address from the DHCP server. So if there is anything I can configure or anthing else I can do just post a message for me.

  3. I finally figured out most of my problems with this server mostly it was a external router that was conflicting with my DHCP and trying to give out to many IP addresses. But once I figurerd that out, now I can't get my other computers on the network to see me or connect to the internet. They are registering IP addresses from my scopeon the DHCP so I know they are connecting in some way. So if there is anything else I must be over looking or just forgot to config, please help mefind the mistake.
  4. The hardware is listed below: Intel P4 2.4 GHz 1GB of ram at L2 cache of 512K I had two 80 GB hards on there but one went bad. But before I found out it was bad I had a raid controller on the computer. I took that off an set the hard drives as master/ slave config. Found out that one hard drive was bad. I took that off and it actually ran through the setup, because before with the bad hard drive it wouldn't do anything at all. Dual ethernet connections Onboard video No sound card That's about it
  5. I reformated windows 2000 server because it crashed. Now after the installation is finish and right when it starts to load windows 2000 it gives me an message that says <windows 2000 root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt. How do I fix this problem. I have tried to repartion the drive and reinstall windows again but the same error message comes up every time.
