The sophos may be eating up a lot of your system resources with the 'auto-protect' features like most AV's today. Do you have your page file set to 768 (1.5xTotal RAM)? How about spyware, have you scanned? I would also recommend crap cleaner, may be some old temp files lagging you down.

I read that they've even infultrated the Internet2 networks on college campuses. I think its worth it if you actually have a need an use for all the OSes available. I'm talking from Windows 1.1 to Windows Server 2003. And its not just OSes either, its also a wealth of other M$ applications as well as all the current betas like Vista. But like lostincyberspace said, hope your pockets are deep depending on the subscription.

I agree, you don't want some code savvy script kiddie breaking into POS and email. For sure have it behind a secure firewall.

I would most definatly recommend 2 unless you've got a really killer server. I say 2 as the game server will most likely constantly be 'lagged' and you wont want lag when dealing with cumstomers on the POS. Like you said I would have a server for gaming and then another less hardware intensive machine for POS transactions and Exchange.

Hey guys... as you probably all know by the 'Best Socket T Mobo' thread thats been here for weeks I'm building up a new Intel machine on a P5WD2 Premium mobo and still cannot decide on the best RAM to get. To me, it makes sense to get 800MHz RAM as the board natively supports it and plus thats the FSB on the P4 650 I'm getting. I'm thinking about either the Crucial Ballisitx BL2KIT6464AA804 2 x 512 @ 4-4-4-12 or the Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X1024A-6400 @ 5-5-5-12. Both almost the same price. Suggestions?? Trials and tribulations??
