Personally id whack some raptors in there in RAID0 for the OS and programs. My choice anywhos.

Well, I use XP still, and from what performace i have seen gtom W7, it is going to be awesome! Vista, I have been one of the unlucky ones to have NON STOP problems with it. I even gave it another chance with my new rig, to have the same problems over and over. So I have totally given up on Vista, full stop. XP, at the moment, is the most relaible, compatible, fast OS to use for me. I have given Vista plenty of chances to prove itself to me, just to be disapointed EVERY time. So I will now wait to see what W7 brings.

I've always been pleased with Nero, using Nero 7 at the moment. Never let me down, and never had failed burns. I have got a copy of Alcohol 120% http://www.alcohol-soft.com/ but hardly ever use it.

i have had similar problems happen, but not often, after pressing the reconnect buttons its ok, but doesnt happen often.

dont see the point in this? i use and like the feedback links, cause if sommit happens in a window, i can quickly press it while its fresh...if u get me. its a beta...for testing purposes...SO TEST IT. and testing means...feedback

Had to get a new graphics card in December, as my old one deceided to fail on christmas day...haha, I also got another light for the case to add more effect...

well, ask yourself...speed or space? simple choice really. if it were me, i would have my OS and programs on a VCR drive (maybe even 2 74GB in RAID), then have other good high capacity drives for storage and documents (remap my documents).

Ok, so somehow i accidently removed the speech support when i nLited my CD...oops...and i use TTS in some programs... is there anyway to install the Speech software back to Windows XP? I have tried the 5.1 SDK packs, but doesnt work as i have removed what it seems, speech support...any ideas?

MSFN does it again Just did a fresh install with my new XP CD, everythign setup, come to use iTunes....nothing...was ripping my hair out over it, and i was not goign to reformat! lol came across this, and all working, just those stupid files! Sums up Apple....lol thansk guys

do what i do when i install XP...unplg everything thats seen as a driver letter expept DVD and then add them after and name them how u like

for me it depends on the modification. If its just engine tweaking - cams, headers etc etc, then yeh, id drive it, if it had some stupidly modified body work, id be embaressed to drive it tbh!

yh, i got that as well, lso after testing my new cd, i had 5 important updates still on windows update

have you got any external hard drives attached? or a usb card reader? if so, chaneg those driver letters to sommit at the other end, X, Y, Z for example, then re connect your ipod, will work. Happened to me, the Ipod was assiging itsself the same letter that was already assigned to a drive, chanegt he drive letter and all was fine.
