  1. It's a pity though this should still work with many NAV versions.
  2. That's what I was searching for but I had no idea that was this tweak. Thanks. ^^
  3. -> http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=87008
  4. Including 6.4. I use MPC. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=40707 -> http://ksphere.free.fr/site/codecspackage.php There are some other config but I can't find them anymore. (but I have them on my hard drive)
  5. That what I'm thinking too. My problem is the time needed to learn this (though I should have holidays) and the lack of wysiwyg mode, or rather live preview. Though again theres Whizzytex + Active-DVI. But I'll have to use *nix and I really lack of time to install it properly. Anyway, even if I can't get it to work, OCAML rocks. Does anyone have something against latex ?
  6. I never thought there would be such a tweak. Thanks a lot. Maybe try with winnt.sif too : http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/v...web/19/#display
  7. It seems you can change display resolution no matter you have the drivers or not. More info : http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=531168 This would really kick a**.
  8. I guess it's not like you absolutely needed that and I don't think many people are crawling the net to find such cracks only a few days after RTM release.
  9. I remove WMP, keep IE and this ActiveX, install titou2k's codec packs and play streaming inside without problem. As for 1-, I read somewhere that FF needed that component but imho that doesn't make sense. Maybe you can test this. (but I'm sure it needs some other files to be put in its plugins dir, more info on titou2k's page)
  10. Yes, ESET did it! They made a tool to uninstall McAfee and Symantec antivirus. Have a look at this page There is no download link and you have to contact a representative in order to get it but still, it's there. Maybe that someone may ask for it and share it here? (no time right now for that) B)
  11. It depends should I take into account experimental slimmed down versions of windows ? Like : "what would happen if I remove that from the CD ?".
  12. Hi everybody, For my exams, I'll soon prepare what we call a TIPE in France. I'll have to provide my examinators with some written documents and I'll do an oral presentation. The written part will take me more than one year and I don't want to work on MS Office Word for one simple reason : it is not reliable. I even consider it as the software with the higher non-security bugs that won't kill the process. I mean my mother is struggling with it, you can't put the things you want where you want, and many other things. Moreover, I'll have some maths in my document. So now, what should I use to write it ? WordPerfect, LaTeX, OOo Writer, plain HTML... ? Thanks for your answers.
  13. /noreboot I first posted that but that's not what he wants : he does not want to get this files, he wants them not to be removed during setup so he can reuse the USB key. At least, that's what I have understood.
  14. What do you mean by modular ? I consider the project as it is now as already modular since you can decide the softwares you want to install, what components to remove and so on.
  15. I love your wallpaper, plus it fits perfectly with your weather docklet. Otherwise, no special comment : your whole desk is nice.
  16. Goto "nLite and HFSLIP" on this page. It gives you a list of files not to remove with both WMP and DX things, there's a ";wm codec stuff" between them but it's not so easy to find it. And I've been using nLite with HFSLIP without any problem for months. Just keep this in mind: 1-HFSLIP and updaters 2-nLite 3-BTS's DriverPacks 4-anything you want
  17. Shouldn't the upcoming nlite for vista nearly do the trick ?
  18. Is there anyone able to use Monad correctly ? I mean beyond simple cmd thing : I'm interested in it but since my time is very limited, I'd like to know if it's worth.
  19. -> flyakit.msfn.org instead of flyakite.msfnhosting.com
  20. Wow. Really nice site and photos. As for the sound, I knew I had a reason to reboot!
  21. Ahah, beat you all.
  22. I'm saying there's probably no difference between XP SP2 on Athlon and Athlon64. And it's not they won't use these registers, it's they won't have access to it.
  23. Wasn't there something with EWF ? Also, you may recreate them at the end of the installation. Or use CDShell and set it to mount a .iso file.
  24. On IA-32 when a variable is longer than 32 bits (not sure it's really 32) it is split so the CPU can handle it. This takes some time. On 64-bit, the var can be 64 bit without being split. Also, I think 64-bit OS is needed in order to access additionnal registries. But 64-bit means 64-bit memory address so you will need more memory (PAE has the same effect). As far as I've understood, on 32-bit OSes a 64 bit CPU will behave in the same way as a 32 bit CPU. 64-bit OSes are probably faster (and even more for scientific apps) but they need more RAM.
  25. This lets you play streaming inside IE and not in another window. By removing this you will only lose what I described just before, nothing more.
