I would consider getting a heatsink from THermaltake (if u can stand the sound) or Zalman if u are willing to spen abit more for somthignnice and quite. However the zalman are not great for Overclocking... If your Cpu did indeed get to 100C i would be concernd of its future stablity and or working at all.. And like Xtereme said you may wanna consider some additional fans within the case |Drew|

Asus P4C800C-E @XtremeMaC Yes the Raptors are nice but i have only noticed a increase in performance when the drives are put into a raid striping setup. The difference in the single drive setup is not very notable. A very good setup from what i have seen is 2x Wd160Sata drive in striping. You get performance and a decent amount of space for a good price. |Drew|

Make sure to get the P5c800-E a much better reversion That and get a better vid card...the Se version are pretty bad Lookinto a gigabye 9600xt u can get them for abount 150 |Drew|

Running any type of virus protection? Run this: HouseCall in addition if u recall the name of the file you downloaded if would reccomend searching for it here: SAV Search They may have some instructions for removal or even a tool to do it for you. |Drew|

This on has really got me in a vice here. YEsterday everything was well my upload speeds were near 35kbs. After some frustrations with the new MS Virtual pc slowness, i tested out the new VMware 4. WHen the wizard came to the network settings i set it to bridge the connections, it seemed that it was defalt and that the description would be fine. However since that install my uploads have been terrible. Im talkin maybe 7kbs even worse sometimes. The Vmware is the only thing i can attribute to this issue. I have other computers in the house and they work fine. I have uninstalled Vmware but the issues persist! Can anyone offer some guidence here? |Drew|

So im assuming that you made a directory on your hdd and copied your Xp cd to it. Then you used the deploytools to make a new answer file. From there u named the file on completion to "Winnt.sif" Then droped that in the proper directory of the files u copied from the XP Cd. Then from there u made a new iso. If this is true then i would use the link to make sure your answer files is all proper. You can open the file with word pad and ediet directley. |Drew|

Yes that will be the case then SP2 goes final However it is now in RC2 so more then likley there will be several updates release from this point till it goes gold....so just keep that in mind when using sp2 betas |Drew|

XtremeMaC, plz stay on topc, if u wish to ask a personal question then use the pm feature. RaidenX, Mac osx will not run on a pcs archetechture.....however running an appliucation like Virtual PC within Windows and then installing OSx on that might be effective for your needs. |Drew|

C-Girl I Belive you have you have a version of the Cool Web search trojen i haven been removing all week at work. Heres what you got to do: Your going to need a few tools 1.SmartKiller 2.CWShedder 3.HijackThis Run those apps inorder. -The first will remove the auto trojen running in the backround. It can disable apps from finding the tojen/adware and even corrupt the app your using. -Then run CWshedder, this will find all instances of the CWS and delete it. It may ask you to restart and run it again, if so, do it. -Then Run Hijackthis. This app will show everything that is running in your start up, even hidden scripts etc. It is abit of advanced tool however most everything that it finds can be disabled...just be wary of what you take out casue it can casue some errors on boot if u delte a critical boot file.. After all that i would reccomend getting and app like Spybot search and destry and runnign that to remove any remaining traces. So far I have removed about 15 of these pesky little bastards at work... |Drew|

by compatabilty i mean that every so often i will click on a link for a download and instead of opening the link for the file the page will fill with random charecters. Also every so often some of the tables and or alignment of a website will be off. Interms of configuring what do you mean....and do you have any recomends for lessining the memory usage? Shot in the dark here but if your refering to attacment restrictions heres what you need to do: Tools>Prefs section there will be a tab related to security. Depending on the version there may be a enable attachments or somthing of that nature. |Drew|

I would reccomend cutting out air vents in the back of the cabinate and even installing small fans there.. I have seen many untimly death of computers due to conjested cabinets. |Drew|
