  1. This version is an update for Linux only - here is confirmation. It's Internet Explorer version and schwups has mentioned only that one for alternative browsers like Firefox/Opera.
  2. You know, it would be wonderful to have Flash GPU acceleration on Win9x but it's not possible as we know. Btw, I've discovered some sound glitches (distortion) with latest version.
  3. Honestly, I don't know what sort of benefits do you expect installing newest Flash version on retro systems like Win98/Me but if you need it so badly, you can download it from here. Btw, I've tested it - it works (suprisingly even with old SeaMonkey 1.1.19).
  4. I have exactly the same problem with that update.
  5. VLC Player 2.0.1 working smoothly with KeX 4.5.2. I have tried portable version of SumatraPDF 2.0 but I've got error message about missing export NTDLL.DLL:wcsncat. Btw, loblo could you try latest version of AV Splitter? Installation was successful but it doesn't work on my PC.
  6. Yes, I can't play Audio CD with latest stable version of VLC too. Btw, looks like they had similar problem in the past (with older versions).
  7. Flash Player updated to 11.1.102.62 version - it working smoothly.
  8. Java 6 update 31 installed successully on silent mode and workable (Win98 SE and KeX 4.5.2).
  9. I've tested it shortly but look like that VLC 2.0.0 RC1 working smoothly on Win 98SE with KeX 4.5.2 (installer version). Btw, I can confirm that latest build of PDF XChangeViewer is indeed usable (both versions: installer and portable).
  10. Maybe indeed this an old Revolutions Pack but if I remember correctly, it was called Windows 98 32-Bit Icon Patch. I haven't idea how to remove it.
  11. I've got similar crash with Avidemux 2.5.5. Additionally there's message about missing ktmdll.dll(?)
  12. What is needed to run Avidemux 2.5.5 ( I have 2.5.3)? Btw, Xeno knows about ImportPatcher? Looks like it could be a value add to the KeX project.
  13. Dave-H, it must be something wrong in your configuration - here is screenshot from my PC (Opera 11.52). Btw, why Internet Explorer name is visible on the top right?
  14. Most probably yes, because SeaMonkey 2.1 using the same version of Gecko engine as Firefox 4.0. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gecko_(layout_engine)
  15. Forget it, no chance at all - you can't install IE 9.0 under Windows XP, which is still officially supported by Microsoft.
  16. In my humble opinion, I would definitely prefer Athlon 64 over Pentium 4 - it's not only newer but also more efficient architecture.
  17. Xeno, of course it's a fantastic news, that you've updated KEx! Honestly, I'm even more confused now - what about this topic, which you've created a couple months ago? Btw, upgrade would be beneficial also, if I do not plan to use a latest version of Firefox (8.0)?
  18. Have you tried TCP Optimizer - this is a nice tool to if you want to tweak/tune your Internet connection. You can download it from here.
  19. Frogman, I've made some tests and looks like that Flash 10.0.45.2 is latest version which work with IE 6.0 (Win98/ME of course).
  20. I would like to know for what you need latest Flash in that terrible, over ten years old browser?
  21. Maybe it works for you because you have Windows Me.
  22. Sorry but it doesn't work in this way.
  23. Do you have KernelEx installed? If yes, you need just ffdshow instead of any codec packs. I'm using xxl build from 25 July - you can get it from here. The only problem is that there's no direct access to the configuration panel of it - you can configurate it only when you're playing video/clip. If you don't like it, you can use older (from 2 September 2010) clsid build - it works smoothly. Download link is here.
  24. You can update it to the version 11.0.1.152 (released today).
