duffgun sorry you are having so much trouble with your box. I am using a windows 2000 upgraded with HFSLIP and I am very happy with it. IE is gone and firefox is my browser. I went to one of those internet sites where they check to see if they can attack it.... WELL I am secure I dont know your serfing habits or if you are into modding an OS but I would reccomend the setup I got.

I used the new nlite in combo with hfslip and the results are amazing. It couldnt find dosnet.inf and sfc.dll and then wouldnt save the image file. It would start the iso creation and I could see the iso but then would delete it

It sounds like a very useful mod for people with name brand computers. You really need as much air going out as coming in.

I had one to do this and it was the surge protector gone bad. Try hooking strait to the outlet and see if it still happens

If it is under warrenty do nothing but take it back. If you do anything your warrenty could be voided. If it was an older computer it could be drivers, it could be a weak psu, it could be a weak pcu, it could be faulty ram, it could be a lot of things.

Is there some software which will do a fast format in fat32 and ntfs? I hate hirens boot cd it always messes with my boot sector.

I was able to connect to emule a few days ago, but now I am getting the message I dont have an internet connection. HUH I am using internet now. I have a few unfinished downloads and would like to finish them. How would I fix this problem? Thanks in advance
