Thanks I thought it would be something complicated like run a different line for the phones and and internet. I still may run a line with a line filter for internet. Which of the colored wires are needed for the internet connection because I may upgrade to a better type of wire for it.

I switched from cable internet to DSL offered through the phone company. Why? Mostly for the price difference. 59 usd vs 24 usd. 8 mb (cable) vs 3 mb (dsl). Performance wise I can live with dsl but it has an annoying habit of disconnecting when the phone rings. They have line conditioners with the kit but I cannot connect at all with the conditioners on the phone line. Does anyone have a solution for the internet disconnecting when the phone rings? I cant go back to cable without paying a stiff penelty, so I will stay with dsl for a year.

Is there 1 with a gui which doesnt need net framework? This would be the king.
