1024 mb of pc 133 value ram. It is old and been in 2 puters and working good. The value ram has micron chips on it so I guess it is good.

Nice setup but on mine I upgrade as my older stuff wears out or fails to perform as expected AMD 1900+ 1024 mb ram samsung 120 gb HD ECS MB 7200-256 ddr video card ( I forgot the brand) soundblaster surround sound with sub pioneer dvd rom panasonic dvd burner The last upgrade/repair was done last year. It is not super fast but reliable and get the job done for me

I have sone video files which are pal format. When I burn them to a dvd in pal format the video is in black/white, when I do a conversion with nve the audeo/video doesnt match up. I am wondering if there is a simple way to convert pal to ntsc and still have resonable video quality? Joe

It will take more than 1 try to get the OS like you want it. Redo it and be more cautious about removing things. Test in vpc or the software of your choice until you have it the way you want it.

I have used the reducer on windows 2000 with very good results. If I used the reducer on windows xp what would the iso size be and what would the install size be? I know I can go a head and do it (I will) just wondering what the end result would be.

I agree 100% most people confuse zero fill with LLF which is done at the factory. It also can be done in special cases but very risky

Its your HD do a LLF if you want

Another option besides LLF is to use a second party software to zero fill the HD which is much safer than LLF. After zero fill then do a regular format to use HD.

The easy way would be to reinstall windows and use the default drivers while installing.

In the bios you will have to enable the graphics card and disable onboard graphics.

This might be what you are looking for bur if you want to intergrate IE 6 give HFSLIP on this forum a try

I tried nero 7 when it first came out and burnt a few coasters, this may have been a user flaw instead of the program. I have tried later ones and they run great but a bit bloated. Then came nero 7 lite which has all the best of nero 7 without the bloat. This is what I am using now and have no problems with it.
