  1. They claim this issue is now fixed, could you confirm? And it's again fixed by @win32, not "Thorium" author. https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/tag/M122.0.6261.169 "GDI text rendering alignment is fixed This bug caused text to be askew, either too high or too low, or too much to the left. The reason previous releases didn't have this fixed, is that win32ss fixed it in Skia, which is a third_party submodule of Chromium."
  2. Since WebGPU ("unsafe" GPU, how the devs still call it) now works on Vista+, it'd make sense for @XPerceniol to switch it off, too. (since he disables webgl, I thought it'd be of interest) https://github.com/Alex313031/thorium-legacy/releases/tag/M122.0.6261.169

  5. Yes, that's very close to what I get, thanks.
  6. There's an older driver exist, probably more luck with that one? Sorry, I have no link to 64bit. Driver 14.51.10.64.5436 for Windows XP https://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/16818/
  7. I'll check it out, but I have a very problematic Haswell GT1 "ult" device (on Pentium), it works poorly even with the official drivers. https://www.phoronix.com/news/Intel-Haswell-GT1-Busted
  8. Interesting! Shouldn't Iron 109 correspond to the exact same Chrome 109 version @Cixert uses? Probably his adblock (or something else) interferes with the site, then?
  9. And didn't tel what to do exactly? Strange. Do you have a link to the driver?
  10. I have no problems to post links that link to the MSFN forum itself. A very fresh example is here. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/?do=findComment&comment=1264614
  11. Apart from "nightmare" written boldly with the use of capslock, I'd like to see a more detailed report. Which flags are used, Hardware specs, VM version, Updates level (which is very important!) Read here, this was already explained by @George King: https://msfn.org/board/topic/186133-thorium/?do=findComment&comment=1263763
  12. No, it's just paid. To get the good version and additional bonuses, you need to subscribe. It's been discussed in this topic already. 5 Euros per month or so. Dollars are converted, don't worry.
  13. Well, you can always try this to make sure, then. Open regedit and go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM.There, create a DWORD key named CompositionPolicy and set its value to 2. Install the driver via computer manage. After the display driver installs, reboot or restart VDDM.
  14. So, will they tell you what they actually did, or not? Just saying "it worked" isn't helpful.
  15. How to force Aero on vista RTM "the reg hacks were disabled in the final release, so as far as I know there will be no way to enable" https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/22128056/How-to-force-Aero-on-vista-RTM.html

  20. Actually this bug is present on Vista, too. It's not "XP-only", like someone there tried to imply. Therefore, you're in the wrong right repository, Dave, you can edit the post and include Vista so they get out of your hair. They have no respect to the famous moderator!
  21. No, it was Thorium's creator who referred to this in the quoted reply.
  22. Alex313031: "I have fixed GDI fonts being askew by rolling a newer version of Skia and then using a patch that win32ss created. " https://github.com/Alex313031/Thorium-Win/issues/210#issuecomment-2081336104
