Well, you can always try this to make sure, then. Open regedit and go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM.There, create a DWORD key named CompositionPolicy and set its value to 2. Install the driver via computer manage. After the display driver installs, reboot or restart VDDM.

So, will they tell you what they actually did, or not? Just saying "it worked" isn't helpful.
