  1. More likely to reduce the amount of work they would've to do each time the new version is released. I mean, no need to constantly cut out the unneeded code parts from chromium itself. Basically, the file consists of wisely stubbed/redirected APIs. (a compliment to win32)
  2. Rowl https://www.definitions.net/definition/rowl
  3. No, it needs to be C++ source code.
  4. Yes, a good suggestion to block rumour spreaders.
  5. It would be odd to simply publish all of the source code of something which has *subscription mode* and paid Patreon versions, yes, I'm aware about the free github versions, too.
  6. There was a leak, my first release wasn't protected with X-prot, so someone, someone I shared my app with, had hacked it and made another launcher app based on my knowledge, but it's nowhere near as good as the original, that person didn't know all secrets. Clearer now?
  7. I never saw any links to it. I only saw someone at github asked win32 to publish the source code to that mysterious dll file, but no answer. Usually it's at github, these days.
  8. What do you mean? I decided not to. Some people don't appreciate our hard work and make scandals out of thin air. I also made Supermium starter app. But share only with the ones I want.
  9. So what? They share between themselves via PM. But no links in public. I also shared my personally written programmes with certain members. Some of them wrote similar software based on my knowledge and findings, My famous Chrome/Opera starter app., for example.
  10. Then --enable-low-end-device-mode would better suit your needs, in theory it should combine many, including these. Don't throw stones at me, if not. Just try. *use without quotes.
  11. Use in conjunction with --component-updater=url-source=0.0.0.0 Otherwise it would still check for available updates at certain intervals. It won't update them, but these checking connections is better to avoid.
  12. I think Klemper's logic is very simple, and I tend to agree, no source for that particular dll would mean Supermium is indeed close source, it's simply won't even launch without it. It's not "hearsay", no source for that dll was ever published, I looked.

  14. You have other sites opened in Supermium, this obviously adds performance penalty. Msfn, github and reddit. Esp. githun and reddit are heavy.
  15. @Dave-H, would you be willing to try out --disable-low-res-tiling? --disable-low-res-tiling reduces cpu usage and saves power https://codereview.chromium.org/196473007/ https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66825943/how-to-reduce-chromedriver-cpu-usage-in-selenium-python
  16. Probably you hit the size limit. Try to delete your old attachments. It helped me, I can embed since then.
  17. With our without HPET, yes, a bit faster start, like Dave wrote. But I'm not on a single core. Those on a single core would've seen a faster startup.
  18. It's very strange, it's not related to CSS, nowhere near it. And the author of Thorium suggests that flag himself. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), I can't link to his site because he hosts Windows cr*cks, pirated loaders on it. But I can make a quote, those interested may find themselves. "--disable-highres-timer[1] ## Disables high-resolution timer on Windows."
  19. --disable-highres-timer speeds up considerably.
  20. Not true, it's present even in older Supermium versions, not only the latest. You don't even need update to the latest hotfix 122 of Supermium. Try this. Paste and click enter. chrome://flags/#disable-search-engine-collection

  22. Probably @Cixert assumed, and rightfully so, the double engine of 360 Explorer or something similar would be implemented in Supermium, too.
