  1. @Anbima, is this what it looks like for you? If no, then switch to disabled - to get the fonts smoothing. Though, from what I know, it should have no effect on XP. chrome://flags/#disable-direct-write
  2. Honestly, I didn't like both. You may try to play with nVidia settings. For example, try to turn off anti-aliasing gamma correction, not sure if it will make a huge improvement in a browser, but fonts in games look less blurry with this setting off.
  3. This one is too bright and contrast, heavy on ones eyes when staring at it for a long time, anti-aliasing is obviously off, direct write is OFF in this case, too. 360Chrome uses this setting by default.
  4. This picture is far less bright than the one with 13.5, it's blurry and has less contrast, it is heavily aliased, also looks like the driver applies AA gamma correction.
  5. Supermium with GDI versus DirectWrite is still very bright compared to 360 13.5.1030.
  6. Here I'm giving the best 7300 GT driver NVIDIA GeForce 307.90 WHQL Those are of exceptional quality and tested by Microsoft.
  7. Screenshots won't do it real justice due the compression, about win7, yes, no way to tweak it to display normal fonts, Vista can be tweaked though.
  8. This is how the fonts look like on my old Siemens XP laptop with a very low screen resolution 1366x768 (it can't go more). Driver nVidia 346.26. Take a note, the website automatically switches me to the Dutch website https://www.dpd.com/nl/nl/ because I am from Holland.
  9. For XP and this browser I use suggested by @D.DrakernVidia icafe 347.26. The fonts look marvellous!
  10. Every video driver renders fonts differently. I'd start with searching the right one for you. It's a long path of trial and error.
  11. Glad to be of help, yes it's SRWare Iron on Vista x64, right.
  12. You're very welcome! It would an interesting topic since my experience with Windows 7 was nothing but annoyances and grievances.
  13. Type, then hit @ and wait, it supposed to trigger, then start by typing the first letter of the profile you want to tag, right after @ without spaces. It will not work on old browsers, the minimum would be Chrome 99 (not sure exactly about the min. version). I'm currently on Iron 99.
  14. Argument is when both sides have valid facts, we haven't read any from you. Also, it's not "heresay", it's been confirmed by at least several members and Chrome developers, including the comments in your topic with 360Chrome. It's not only Floppy disks, it's basically any storage, HDD, USB stick, I actually read it is also DVD. The goal is not to "win". The goal would be to defeat the spying "features" coming from that dubious place. It's not only linked to XP, I can reproduce even on Win 7. Example, an external WD 8TB storage with "green" saving features sleeps, then it turns on and spins up when the browser starts. I have the same behaviour with 360Chrome and CatsXP.
  15. More to the point, if you insist it's purely Chrome related, then it can be switched off in the flags, yet it doesn't work. For me it looks like an old bug is there for a purpose, but you're free to not agree with my opinion. Besides, judging by the comments in your multiple 360topics, you didn't solve it in (not saying which country) Chrome360. Why? I mean, if it's not a spying feature, but rather a well documented bug. Care to expand? thanks
  16. How's Chrome from 10 years ago is relevant to this discussion? I too noticed the same spinning disks and floppy scanning with CatsXP (iit's from the same the country you prefer not to name). How would you explain that? Why do we not notice it in Supermium v115? Actually, it would've been reported immediately because Supermium is quite popular already. How would you explain that?
  17. It may fail to start due to the broken dependencies. Did you disable any other services?
  18. Thanks, looks like the ancient quad core is still better than my Pentium G3470 (dual-core) on that machine I use for youtube.
  19. No sitcom, more like a skit. As an example, the playback isn't smooth for me with chrome360.1030. "Space Station Broadcast - SNL - An unexpected chain of events occurs while Captain Ed McGovern (Steve Carell) live streams from the International Space Station to children's classrooms across America... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7pf_Ue9gdw
  20. Chrome 115 is more than a half year old, are you sure? The current Chrome is 121, mind you.
  21. Kind of makes one wonder whether the browser itself has bugs of the same "quality".
  22. 1080ti >> yes, acid colours! 980ti >> sucks and too old (soon to be a decade old), I agree titan x maxwell >> https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-gtx-titan-x.c2632 titan x 2016 >>Never heard of such thing, but if you know what that is, please find it on techpowerup and give us the link. titan xp >> Tripredacus banned the only one knowledgeable member, the owner of Titan XP who provided us with good consultations (no, not for posting crakcs, if you wonder), so we'll never now for sure. With the current members - seems no one can answer this question with 100% certainty.
  23. Indeed, I wrote my own unified starter app for Chrome and Opera, it passes a gazillion of flags and enabled/disabled features to the executable, I shared it with several members, everyone's happy with it, I never used quotes. I must be not educated enough.
