  1. I'm away from my computer, will try it later
  2. Thanks, will try it out. Which version is this? I found out that the latest version Nero MediaHome does not install on Vista.
  3. Hello! Could you change my username to Win10-Hater (inspired by @VistaLover and @XP-x64-Lover's usernames) ? Thanks in advance!
  4. I might just use MPC-HC/MPC-BE if not for the absence of pitch changer. Is there any player that has a pitch changer other than VLC? EDIT : Winamp's interface does not look good to me, so I won't prefer it
  5. It's like this out of the box in my Win7 test VM
  6. No, VM, though I can share pictures. Btw, I'm away from my computer now, so it will take some time to upload
  7. I'm too late! Only now I came to know about R.Loew's amazing work towards making Windows 9x usable even now. What a legend he was!!! Very saddening news. RIP R.Loew . You will be gone but NEVER forgotten
  8. That's not happening on my Win7 SP1 (Pro, non-N) test VM, but that's maybe due to having a different edition.
  9. Exactly! There are many wise folks on this wonderful forum who still use Windows 2000 or even Windows 95 today, by applying the necessary compatibility, security and usability patches and taking smart preventive measures against bad actors! So, whatever your OS may be, being smart is VERY IMPORTANT! Windows 10 is just useless and bloated and unstable, and even with "security" updates, it is not made as secure as older Windows versions, such as 9x-Vista, which very less number of people use today and which are highly unlikely to be targeted by bad actors. I did not mention 7-8.1 as they are still used by about 15-20% of the Windows population, but over time, usage will decline (partly because of Microsoft's intimidation) and they will also become more secure.
  10. Correction: Kingston SSD Manager is Windows 8+ only, I said that before.
  11. Is there any Ivy Bridge (or Sandy Bridge) CPU that supports 1866 MHz DDR3 RAM? According to Intel listings, even the fastest Sandy and Ivy Bridge Mobile Extreme i7's support only up to 32 GB DDR3 RAM at 1333 MHz and upto 16 GB DDR3 RAM at 1600 MHZ. Does this mean the system simply won't detect 1866 MHz RAM?
  12. So do I......hahaha
  13. I checked online and on the Dell Precision M6600 (the Sandy Bridge equivalent of the m6700) with BIOS Rev. A02, it can be disabled. Then maybe it can be disabled on the m6700 too.
  14. I dunno because I don't have one, but if it can't be disabled, then wouldn't the best option be to use the AMD Firepro GPU?
  15. Or maybe a Dell precision m6700? Does that support 980m,970m or m5000m GPUs?
  16. Which other games don't work on Vista because of launcher? Just curious I know roblox does not work at all and gives DLL errors.
  17. BTW, you're misspelling my name
  18. I've started writing to them now. I'll have finished by the next 10 minutes EDIT: Done!
  19. Yeah, now I understand. My LCD is the culprit
  20. @AeroSeeker, please consider attaching an updated screenshot
  21. Yes, he plans on using Vista on this and I found drivers for it on the Nvidia website, so that will not be an issue
  22. You know why I can't rollback to earlier versions, scroll back. Also, btw, I DO understand English well but I have a god-awful 1366 by 768 TN panel on my main laptop. I don't use custom dark themes and also Dixel's customisations make it super hard to see the difference. I strained my eyes very much trying to see it. I thought you saw what @UCyborg said about the same. My issue is resolved now so let's stop arguing.
