  1. I can confirm the new version works great, thanks again! One question though, is it still possible to have Modern Apps with a glass title-bar?
  2. You have to wait for the stable build but yeah Aero Glass is great like that
  3. I made similar observations in my test-VM, this version is great!
  4. Wow that was quick, thanks bigmuscle! I'll patiently wait for the final version to not have the watermark before I update my PC to 1809.
  5. Ah okay I wondered because one user here claimed it did. I'll wait then, AeroGlass always comes first for me.
  6. Are any of these the 1809 Symbols? I want to try 1809 in a VM first before I update as Aero Glass is seemingly working well with it out of the box.
  7. Interesting I never noticed this till you pointed it out but I have this too, I'm using cakeOS aswell. I have no definite answer but Glass8 stores its colorization settings inside this registry key: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM And there are different values for the top and side-borders, ColorizationColor controls the top, left and right borders and AccentColor controls the top border. Maybe by comparing the offset between these two you can find out what you have to do differently with the actual glass graphics to counter that effect. All possible settings are also explained here: http://www.glass8.eu/guide
  8. The best place to ask is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/
  9. If you still want to give it a try you can re-enable glass in Chrome with the following command while you have Glass8 still installed: Enter this in Chrome: chrome://flags/#windows10-custom-titlebar and set it to "disabled". For the popup you would have to donate 2-3$ to Glass8 to receive a license so it stops nagging. If you want to uninstall it still please also look into the old Control Panel --> Software windows and see if it's listed there instead of the new Windows 10 "Settings" window. How did you install it?
  10. I can only agree, 1.59 works perfectly on my system, thanks again @bigmuscle I only wish the community would do more themes like these: https://www.deviantart.com/alexandreph/art/Soft7-2-0-161602097 https://www.deviantart.com/seahorsepip/art/Wave-200072592 for Windows 10 I would try to do one myself but the lack of a easy .msstyles editor is my biggest hurdle :/
  11. Yeah I think removing the Windows 10 GUID from the .exe is the cleanest method if slightly annoying to be redone every update but Firefox doesn't get updated that fast.
  12. Interesting, my method removes the Windows 10 manifest from the .exe making it unable to detect it's running on Windows 10 thus it loads the Windows 7/Windows 8 UI.
  13. In your case it works fine because you use a Theme Atlas, if you use an actual custom-theme the min/max/close buttons will be messed up without the .exe fix.
  14. I have a 100% perfect and clean method to fix Firefox and Thunderbird but you would have to modify the .exe of both, would you be fine with that?
  15. Personally I always wait for Aero Glass before updating Windows but I understand this isn't an option for everyone.
  16. Did you register after February 2018? MSFN had a server-crash and lost all data after February 2018. And I use dual-monitors but I have the second always disabled unless I need it.
  17. I have to say I fully understand the debug-window and don't mind it at all but yeah having the watermark there after having donated just rubs me the wrong way personally. That and it also conflicts with my Rainmeter setup.
  18. It will go away as soon as the final 1.5.9 version is released. The watermark is the only reason I haven't updated to Build 1803 of Windows yet.
