  1. No , https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4569557/windows-update-sha-1-based-endpoints-discontinued
  2. Samsung magician 6.1.0 does seem to work , with user32 errors though. On Vanilla vista it does open but crashes maybe it could work on that too somehow. https://imgur.com/a/m7PHNWi
  3. perhaps manually somehow i dont use any of these , maybe microsoft update catalog
  4. I did , but even on vista they dont work properly so it functioning on XP is far-fetched i would say.
  5. perhaps that user is @WinClient5270 who changed his name. Did you mean Dreamscene? extended kernel doesn't fix the interactive logon error , we might be in for a surprise though in the future.
  6. I dont think its a DX11.1 issue , dx11.1 can fallback to 11 and also windows 7 partially suports 11.1 so kinda doubtful
  7. Perhaps he didnt due to forum rules and/or legal issues.
  8. Yes , get the SHA-2 Update from Server 2008 SP2 , but that is only one part of it , since its probably against forum rules i cannot say more but you can do your research. I did get it to work though on my end.
  9. the problem is https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4569557/windows-update-sha-1-based-endpoints-discontinued
  10. It will dont worry , as mentioned previously by WinClient5270, he is very busy due to a surge of work so it might take a while.
  11. You dont need to main it , just to see if the results are the same since the x86 users have 0 issues with vista (even on Haswell+ apparently)
  12. Have you perhaps tried Vista x86? Maybe things are different there
  13. Feel free to ask , you're always welcome.
  14. Welcome to MSFN , Basically theres no alpha or beta it just depends on which functions that are added are needed for the software you use , currently many functions are added to the x64 files which is quite good and helpful for running unsupported software , and the 32bit ones are being worked on , this ofcourse wouldn't be possible without win32 so do give him your thanks
  15. the chat does load normally so this isn't needed in this case , it just doesn't work in big picture mode and small mode seems to be less UI intensive aswell
  16. Big Picture mode on steam doesn't seem to load "Chat" , to load the library of games small mode seems to be a better option as its very compact and chat can be used using the Hotkeys , though uninstalling a game doesn't work as it needs steamhelper.
  17. @asdf2345 see the results for yourself , fps is on the top right , using the icafe drivers you provided , do note that this isn't terrible performance of only the icafe ones , all the drivers have the same performance like mentioned before. Windows 7 : https://imgur.com/a/kFgP3sU Windows Vista : https://imgur.com/a/YF0xYOR Windows 7 image is just for what the real FPS should be.
  18. It wasn't linked because its the same as the other ones(performance wise) , but fine , i'll try it for you.
  19. I've already tried dude , been doing this since 2016 , i am the one who tested the 372.70 to be the last working driver.
  20. 1060 gtx here , even moving a window with aero has jitter in it , but when i played doom(2016) with opengl it ran just fine , other drivers work the same i tried all
  21. Yea its a lot different , i heard someone did try to modify it to make it work with Vista but there was an issue with the ribbon inferace or so and aero would not work at all.
  22. Its actually sad , because XP has 4600 drivers and i heard they work but on Vista it doesnt , the drivers are unofficial though but still made by some Ex-intel people.
  23. cool , thanks for the quick reply .
  24. Any word about the LoadLibraryExW rewrite , havent heard about it in a while.
