  1. aah , my bad , it slipped through my mind somehow. But now that i have remembered , even nahimic2 is 32bit. On windows 7 it works normally , been using it since quite a while now.
  2. can confirm its working https://imgur.com/a/9V8eqjQ WhatsApp Still gives an error about SetThreadGroupAffinity though , even Nahimic2 https://imgur.com/a/Nv6AQHj
  3. it supports text mode drivers , worked for me too remember? im afraid you have hit a dead end in terms of getting W2K to work , sorry i couldnt be of much help , even the win-raid drivers used to write in their readme files that the drivers might work for w2k but its not supported
  4. that would probably be because youre running in native UEFI , you need UEFI with CSM Mode
  5. well i dont have x86 vista , but the people that do say that it works flawlessly , graphic drivers are not available for Intel HD 520 probably an issue with x64 vista
  6. according to many people out here it works properly compared to x64
  7. Well obviously , it cant load the needed drivers to install ,0x0000007B means it cannot get a disk to install on , the only way would be to get the AHCI drivers working somehow or change to IDE/ATA Mode , this issue doesnt happen in Vista and above ofcourse due to Microsoft having inbuilt basic drivers.
  8. will this also fix the issue where random services dont start? example Windows Audio , Superfetch and even explorer.exe i wonder
  9. it needs to be a different partition , then on the same disk is possible , which i am doing currently , triple boot vista 7 and 10.
  10. i have skylake , u can use easy2boot or NTSetup (which is what i use nowadays) , idk what snappy driver installer is , but haswell+ has issues with vista x64 , a few services dont start and you might get a logon process failed to initialized at the startup
  11. I had this issue with the earlier kernel32 aswell , i just didnt mention it till now because its a minor issue
  12. Theres something wrong with a few numbers aswell for example the palemoon startpage shows the last update 400+ years ago for some reason , also on a certain website peoples birthdays show as 494 years or something similar example : https://imgur.com/a/ZSfYHhW
  13. try it , but i still wouldn't keep my hopes high , its a 50-50 chance
  14. According to some dell websites , In your Bios , under advanced tab there should be "SATA Operation" which needs to be set to ATA ( IDE) , then Windows 2000 Setup will boot without any need for drivers or you could try slipstreaming with AHCI mode which is what i did for XP x64. I honestly think you've hit a dead end unfortunately.
  15. because its unable to load your ahci drivers it will give that error , i hope you arent slipstreaming all the ahci drivers , you have to only slipstream your specific AHCI one , also in your uefi or bios? there might be a thing to change AHCI to IDE , you could possibly try that
  16. Now i dont really remember it was many years back , but i think you had to slipstream only your specific ahci drivers or something like that and not all (atleast for XP) but im not sure
  17. Perhaps its not working due to partial text mode driver support or a bad iso , i remember getting similar errors in XP x64 but still managed to install it later on , but it seems getting the ahci driver to work is tough and specific , do you get the error while booting into setup or while installing?
  18. Are you running on Legacy mode in your uefi? w2k requires mbr aswell , you can also try getting universal ahci drivers from winraid to see if it works after which , i heard w2k doesnt properly support text mode drivers anyways and only XP supported it properly so i wouldnt expect much.
  19. Hmm, well then the possibility still remains for the future , thanks for the info.
  20. Just a quick question , do you believe a backport of w7's trim functionality is possible?
  21. With or without the kernel extension? either way i doubt this function was added to kernel32 by win32
  22. where can one find Vista Beta/Longhorn 5456.5's ksecdd.sys , doesnt seem to work on vista with 6003's ksecdd.sys for w8's usb 3.0 and where exactly is the "security_cookie"
