lol, they dont need more customers or money. that is the whole point! they released their 8800series a year before ati had anything out. they have built a large customer base, the 8800series has proven itself. and the latest ati series is about equal with the 8800series, so unless ati comes out with a beast for cheap, nvidia will hold off.

well it's not microsofts fault for the driver support, it's mainly because some companies are too lazy or just refuse to make 64bit drivers. which is really stupid in my opinion. 64bit driver support has gone a long way since i started using xp x64, i had to struggle to find drivers for this. now it is pretty much the norm to have 64bit drivers except for a few companies.

the monitor shouldnt be the problem. the major concern of mine is the BIOS. that is an old motherboard compared to your brand new cpu. so a BIOS update is probably needed. what sucks is that you already have the cpu and heatsink mounted.. and odds are that you dont have another cpu to put in. first try this, only use 1 stick of ram.

dreamweaver is by far the best. i dont use it as a wysiwyg but it has many good built in features.

i always go for EVGA, great customer support with them yes ASUS is quality but for video cards they are mostly the same. i look for the customer support and warranty.
