did you see how the 8800gtx compared to the 7800gtx? http://techreport.com/articles.x/11211/14 the 8800gtx is as good as 2x7800gtx's in SLI ! since this is true, hopefully it will happen again.

oh i thought you meant an actual case for the computer, not for the hdd. you dont need a case for the hdd, just install them normally in your computer case and get a fan blowing on them.

i totally agree with everything you said but if you want to future proof yourself to the max right now you would have to spend an insane amount of money.. a DDR3 motherboard.. DDR3!!.. some of this stuff can cost ALOT of money. he said he wont be upgrading for 2-3 years. maybe we should figure out what he means by upgrading, if it is a completely new computer or upgrading parts.

the quad is definatly future proofing. i am not sure why you are against OCing.. you could get the Q6600 and very easily OC it to E6850 speeds and you would have 2x the cores.

i wouldnt want to see a drive over 50C. if you are really worried then put a fan on them.

perhaps making sure that you have the latest files? http://mootools.net/download but first find out which js file is messing it up take out one line only at a time.

so what do those script even do? if you say that you removed them and everything works fine.. btw, i love your site!
