well the 3500 runs a little faster but is not worth the price difference, get a 3200 to save money you can get some cheap memory if u dont want to overclock

do u need a separate driver for the scanner? its an all in one printer, i have a lexmark p3150 and it only needs 1 drivers.

if he likes to frag then he NEEDS amd. mobo:dfi nf4 ultra 123$ cpu:3200 venice 190$ psu:ocz powerstream 520 135$ hdd:hitachi 250gig sataII 117$ vid card: evga 6600gt 154$ ram:ocz gold 2x512 141$ this will actually cost around the high 800's but is very well worth it, if u wanted to you could get the x700 to lower the price but i wouldnt recommend it.

its a driver problem? it has to be the psu! 450watts and it came with the case, wow that sucks. get an ocz powerstream 520.

did u buy it yet? if not then get mobo: dfi nf4 ultra cpu: 3200 venice ram: maybe some mushkin redline 4000 psu:what psu is that? the ocz powerstream 520 is what you should get

so this is the driver for another printer? if so then you need the drivers for this printer. stuff like this is why %Model% = Scanner.Scan, USB\Vid_043D&Pid_0097&MI_00 that is a hardware id, go into the device manager and give me the hardware id for the printer and you should just be able to replace the ones in the inf file with yours.post the hardware id here but i may not be able to help for a couple of days, going out of town tomorrow.

i did try that switch and both firefox and thunderbird just went into an ininite loop of just starting the install but not installing it, there was over 100 processes worth of the install!

well it sound like that certain model printer is not supported by the driver, can u upload the .inf file for me to check out? and also try to find a new driver for it. http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/lexmark.html give this a try, might work what is the exact model number of your printer?
