Cant i just download it off internet and then install it?

Im not sure if i should install Service Pack 2, who has got it and who thinks i should install it, i hav'nt got Service Pack 1 either so i dont know what to do. Any Advice?

Hey, My computer keeps making beeping sounds, it does it when loading stuff up and sometimes out of the blue, and it does when the red light is flashing on front of the computer. Is there something wrong with my system or PC? Can anyone help me on this please? Regards, Craig Selwood
