  1. debug.txt@bigmuscle -- I have attached my log file. Crashes occur usually when I have opened a Windows Modern app such as store or Edge. They occur a lot of the time when I open or move that app to my second monitor.
  2. I don't drag, I use Right-Click Enhancer, and add a move to, or copy to right-click item, and go from there. Drag and drop is pretty old-school for me, I guess!
  3. DHJohns, since you've hidden the Quick access root namespace, can you drag and drop into a folder in the Navigation pane? I haven't been able to find a way to eliminate Quick access without unacceptable side effects. -Noel Why would you want to drag and drop a folder into the navigation pane? I have never tried that before, ever. I just did now, and I can't do it. But, I have no reference as I have never tried that before. I do not consider that a side effect, or unacceptable. All I know is that it looks really, really clean, and works super fast.
  4. That will be easy to ignore, but the intermittent crashes of dwm.exe are difficult to ignore.
  5. Default blur is Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize] "EnableBlurBehind"=dword:00000001
  6. You have Aeroglass up and running, correct? No Aeroglass, no work.
  7. I pasted below in notepad and called it Taskbarblur.cmd I put it on my root drive. Delete lines with Secondary if only using one monitor. @echo off :1 SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_TrayWnd accent 0 0 0 0 SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_TrayWnd blur true SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_SecondaryTrayWnd accent 0 0 0 0 SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_SecondaryTrayWnd blur true timeout /T 2 /nobreak cls goto 1 Then I pasted below in notepad, and called it StartTaskbarBlurMinimum.cmd and place it on root drive. I created a task to start when logging in. start /min C:\Taskbarblur.cmd exit Make sure SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe is in \Windows\System32. Create shortcut to ColorIntensitySlider %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl,Advanced,@Advanced Adjust as needed. I ALSO HAVE BLUR DEVIATION SET TO 30.
  8. Tried it, doesn't work Well, that is what I am using. It does work if you set it up properly.
  9. Mine is! mine not Do you have EnableBlurBehind DWORD under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize? I only have this problem on this new build, worked just fine in 10130 Use SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe found on bm's site.
  10. Thanks Submix. I know this thread is a bit old but just to let you know this did work for me. I now have the Windows XP Internet Games on both my Windows 7 and Vista. That blog post is in Romanian so I had to use Google translate to read it but yes it worked. But did not work on Windows 8. That is what I am hoping for, Internet games on Windows 8, and beyond!
  11. I accomplished this for Windows Explorer (this PC) with no additional software other than Aeroglass. I am running Windows 10 build 10147 Professional x64.
  12. You can get ModernFrame.dll on bigmuscle's Windows 10 tab on his site. It is the experimental debug dll to remove grey titlebar. Put it in you C:\Aeroglass folder, and run below .reg file. Restart. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows] "AppInit_DLLs"="C:\\AeroGlass\\ModernFrame.dll" "LoadAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000001 "RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs"=dword:00000000
  13. Your atlas theme doesn't work for Build 10147. This is what happens Your atlas theme doesn't work for Build 10147. This is what happens Use theme atlases created for build 10074.
  14. Tomorrow I shall try ModernFrame.dll to see if it works, unless someone reports back that it doesn't.
  15. Very nice Dreamweaver01, very nice indeed! Themeatlas for 10074 works! Also, a big thanks to bigmuscle for all his hard work!!!!!
  16. I also loaded the theme atlas in post #272, and couldn't achieve transparency, so I loaded the Opaque theme atlas which seems to work much better for build 10147. I also have customized the colors so the title bar is different, and the buttons change color when I hover over them. It isn't transparent, but it is VERY pleasing to the eye, none-the-less!
  17. Do you have transparency on 10147? If you did could you explain the steps you took to achieve it?
  18. Well, I have Aeroglass installed with the gui program, and NoelC's themeatlas (I did change the color from XP blue to a grayish black though.) That, at least, works well, and gives the borders a more pleasant appearance. I like the translucency with blur, but if I can't have that I will take what I do have.
  19. Go to task manager. When it opens make sure you have clicked "More Details." Then in the tabs across the top click the "Details" tab. End Process Tree for aerohost.exe, and then dwm.exe. This is done by right-clicking on each one, and selecting "end process tree." Now you can copy files into C:\AeroGlass. Restart.
  20. Do you remember all the complaints when Windows XP came out? How MS was screwing up the OS, XP would break your computer, It was a Fisher-Price OS, and no one would use it? I think businesses will figure things out! LOL They always do.
