  1. My upgrade went perfectly. The start menu is working beautifully along with my good friend Cortana. I used express settings, and log in with my Microsoft Account. I have the appearance customized a bit, you know themes, aeroglass, etc. but no unnecessary stuff. I try to keep all as Windowscentric as possible. All updates have gone well, and I have no issues what so ever. I have a mean, clean, Windows 10 Machine!
  2. I have so same Fix this pls! Installing OldNewExplorer with these issues is not an option.
  3. What would I adjust to have NO borders, or to get them as thin as possible?
  4. This is an experimental debug version. The machine key will work correctly with final release.
  5. I believe he is using a themeatlas with that header specified. Check back on his posts or PM him to find which one he is using. He usually posts a link for it, also.
  6. The way I hide the command windows is to create a new desktop, press WindowsKey + Tab, rightclick on each one, and choose move to desktop 2!
  7. It is global, and you can set with AeroglassGUI. caption colour is set to white which works on all window - my pc - networks etc but in modern frame caption colour and arrow are black - i use dark colours as headers so black is no good if its global what am i missing Maybe you haven't downloaded the DLL tool to bypass UXTheme signature verification. not sure - have been away from playing with Aeroglass for a while so am happy to say the problem is me i have C:\\AeroGlass\\ModernFrame.dll, C:\AeroGlass\UxThemeSignatureBypass64.dll in the registry - modern frame works in that i get glass effect at the top - but looking at NoelC pic above i have something wrong - the glass on mine is the same colour as the windows glass - cannot see how he has got his blue - and as said title text is black whilst all other window title text is blue sure the problem is me but cannot see it at the moment EDIT solved part of it i was using an old version of UxThemeSignatureBypass64 - updated and the text is white - arrow is black but i think thats as it is but how do i get a different colour to the 'normal' windows headers I Found it works better like this: C:\AeroGlass\UxThemeSignatureBypass64.dll C:\AeroGlass\ModernFrame.dll that is reversed from what you have.

  10. Thanks for the modernframe update, BM. I have the BACK <-- ARROW again!
  11. Not for users that don't know anything deeper than how to go to the internet. If I tell you stuff in German language you have to know at least that I'm talking German so you can use a translator to understand me. Alter, war das nicht klar, dass ich Deutsch spreche? (means "Dude, wasn't it obvious that I'm talking German?") If you just know "Deutsch" is "German", it can't be obvious in any way. Ich spreche auch Deutsch. Deutsch und Englisch sind sehr änlich! -- Put that in your translator! LOL
  12. I do not know how I found bigmuscle's page, it was a long time ago. The first thing I did was read the whole page, and when I found out there was a forum which discussed this I joined. Then I read EVERY page from page 1. I asked questions; I sent private messages; I experimented with different themeatlases, and windows themes, often to know avail, except knowing that didn't work. If I figure out everything that doesn't work, then I am left only with the things that do. I give advice, often in PMs, and accept advice. I am often opinionated, but I always learn from everyone, and enjoy helping people even if I know they haven't read ALL the pages. The whole point is to try and get this AeroGlass beautiful, and stable. That's all folks.
  13. I hide the dwm.exe window and the modernframes one simply by creating another desktop, and moving them to it. Out of sight, out of mind!
  14. You don't have to thank me.. thank Microsoft for the half assed UI. That is just your opinion, I beg to differ! My opinion ? No it's not. It's a fact. XAML is the best thing that ever happened to Windows. You are wrong to say it is a fact, because it is not a fact, it is just your little opinion.

  16. What I would like to know is how to use the Atlas Layout File.
  17. Not seeing a bug... Maybe I'm just tired. Point it out please? Edit: Never mind. I see you have a window in the middle without a translucent top part. I got so used to seeing that when we didn't have a working ModernFrame I learned to ignore it. -Noel Yea, I didn't see it either until you just pointed it out. I was able to recreate that.
  18. I always thought it interesting that I can make the command window totally transparent. The whole thing, and its opacity is adjustable, too.
  19. The new ModernFrame.dll works beautifully! Thanks bigmuscle!
  20. why install Windows 10 if you are going to use Classic Shell: I guess you never tried it. Take a chance, you may like it. I set it so I can use the stock (MS) menu with just a middle click of my mouse brings it up. And, just for what you can do with the taskbar settings, it' well worth installing it. So, try it. You can uninstall it if you don't like it. LOL, why would I go back to a start menu which I hated? The windows 7 start menu is horrible. I love the Windows 10 Start Menu. It is in the realm of the gods!
  21. I use Classic Shell. As Microsoft start menu can't be customized In your dreams! It is wonderful!
  22. why install Windows 10 if you are going to use Classic Shell:
  23. Yea, LOL minimize -- a foreign concept to some people! I minimize it to my second monitor. Out-of-sight, out-of-mind!
