  1. OK, I do not know if this is an issue or not, but the FIRST time I start up Spartan, when NO other Modern Apps have been open it looks like this: Subsequent times it is opened, or if it has been opened after another Modern App, it looks like this, and has no maximize, minimize or close buttons: Immediately before, and for a brief instant, it appears as the first, but changes. This does not happen to any other apps that I can tell. They all resemble this: Pardon my poor region select on the last one, but it does have rounded corners.
  2. The watermark shows up on BOTH of my monitors at startup or login, but at some point disappears on my main monitor, but remains on my second monitor.
  3. I have never seen a key file associated with regedit, and installing aeroglass is one of the first things I do.
  4. Perhaps he has the file named donation.key.reg. This could happen if he has his machine set NOT to show extensions for known file types.
  5. Still, if it were named properly it would NOT look like this: It would look like this: It also says registry entries in type, and not KEY FILE.
  6. If your file's name were donation.key, it would say so. It even has the registry file icon, so it appears that it is not named properly. If it WERE named properly it would work, since it doesn't work, it is not named properly.
  7. From the looks of your post it appears that you have not named your donation key donation.key. Here is a screenshot of my Aeroglass folder.
  8. Believe it or not after a reboot that problem is now gone for me too. Maybe they slipped an update in. VMware's support for Win 10 is actually pretty good. I've been refining my theme atlas. I found some mistakes in it, and I'm trying to set up to handle any active window color, not just blue, but I find it difficult to get quite enough color in the border without pushing the opacity up, and I like things to be mostly translucent. This works with 10074. Let me know what you think. http://Noel.ProDigitalSoftware.com/ForumPosts/Win10/10074/RoundedCorners.png -Noel This works much better, but there are no Rounded Corners.
  9. I used this registry script to load theme atlas, and set blur deviation to zero. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM] "CustomThemeAtlas"="C:\\Aeroglass\\RoundedCornersSuperEnhanced.png" "BlurDeviation"=dword:00000000
  10. Interesting, I found it when I switched Control Panel back to category mode. It does not appear in icon mode.
  11. Start menu glitches when blur effect is applied (value bigger than 0) Btw, you can still change the colors of window borders from control panel while aero glass is applied Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Change the color of your taskbar and window borders I'm sure they will remove this completely in a future build and/or they will add more options or something similar in the new control panel (settings app), idk... Nothing like that is in my copy of Windows Insider Preview Build 10074!
  12. From what I understand VMWare (I assume you are using that) has only experimental support for Windows 10, so that would probably be the issue. I tried the taskbar all around with multiple windows open, and minimized, and could not replicate that behavior at all.
  13. Are you running 10074 in a virtual machine, or bare metal? I found that installing clean to bare metal was better than even installing via imagex to a VHD, then setting it to boot straight to the VHD.
  14. NoelC said -- In about 1 second after seeing the above it clears up and shows the Taskbar Live Preview normally. It might just be happening during the transition when the preview from the prior button is being faded to the one for the current button. Comment -- I tried to replicate that behaviour on my machine, but without success.
  15. I agree, more customization controls would be nice. A fix for that black background you desire would be a black picture. Create a black jpeg, and use picture to select it. Just sayin'!
  16. I used AeroGlass v1.3.1 with no donation.key, and NoelC's theme atlas from post 536, which I altered the colors quite a bit, but otherwise the same. I also used the AeroGlassGUI.exe to load the themeatlas.
  17. In build 10074 NoelC's themeatlas colors are around the 4 sides of Modern Apps. Just a FYI.
  18. Dave seems to get an extra day for being on the other side of the International Date Line, but look carefully at the time. I'm thinking, though listed in the local time zone, the expiration time must be represented internally by a UTC-based time/date, so they all expire worldwide at the same instant. Mine expires October 1, 2015 at 7:59 PM Eastern Standard Time. -Noel Sort of like Y2K all over again! LOL
  19. How is your version expiring on 2/10/2015 ? when its already April 2015, anyway my 10061 reads that it expires on 10/1/2015. ~DP Probably European Australian date. 2 October 2015.
  20. Thanks for the ThemeAtlas, NoelC. Since I have Photoshop I was able to change the colors on the minimize, maximize, and close buttons so they even change color when hovering over with the mouse. Once again, thank you very much. I like that blue color, and I use your registry tweaks to get the borders nice, too!
