  1. I always thought the HIWORD was Hey! or Wassup? or perhaps Yo!
  2. How I can fix this? Thanks You must change name FROM license.key TO donation.key, then it will work.
  3. Could you repost your screenshot showing the whole names? Grab the little bar just to the left of Type at the top, and drag to the right until you see all of the name.
  4. I can't find it in HKCU? That would be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
  5. Here is what you added: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM] "Composition"=dword:00000001 "ColorizationGlassAttribute"=dword:00000001 "EnableAeroPeek"=dword:00000001 "AlwaysHibernateThumbnails"=dword:00000000 "ColorizationColor"=dword:1a6bb7fa "ColorizationColorBalance"=dword:00000000 "ColorizationAfterglow"=dword:1a6bb7fa "ColorizationAfterglowBalance"=dword:0000000a "ColorizationBlurBalance"=dword:0000005a "EnableWindowColorization"=dword:00000001 "BlurDeviation"=dword:80000001 "DisableGlassOnBattery"=dword:00000000 Here us what I have, and my Aeroglass is working perfectly "DisableGlassOnBattery"=dword:00000001 So try going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM in your registry editor, and delete everything except for what I have and the default value. The 1 in DisableGlassOnBattery is to let a laptop not use aeroglass in battery mode.
  6. Now all we need is transparency on the tool bars of multiple monitors!
  7. No issues at all. Just follow these instructions -- 1. Download ModernFrame.7z (the real DLL is now there) from Big Muscle's link, as provided in post 192. 2. Extract ModernFrame.dll and save it into the C:\AeroGlass folder (if you have the other file already there just replace it.) 3. Open RegEdit and navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows 4. Add C:\AeroGlass\ModernFrame.dll to the AppInit_DLLs value. In my case it was empty to start with. 5. Change the LoadAppInit_DLLs value to: 0x00000001 6. Reboot or Log out then back in. 7. Start any Modern App. In my case the The Weather Channel App. You will see an extra CMD window showing symbols downloading, etc. Just minimize this along with the normal debug window!
  8. Thankyou bigmuscle, and don't worry about it. We all make mistakes. It is working beautifully now! Wonderful!!!!
  9. If anyone can get this Modern Frame Removal for Win10 to work, it would be nice to have some detailed instructions, please.
  10. I have been running for quite a while also! No issues. Thanks Big Muscle!
  11. What is the difference between the debugging symbols, and the regular symbols package. Which is the best to use?
  12. Perhaps you have symbols. How did you get them to self load?
  13. Thanks Noel. Of course I did make a backup of the key just in case! But, I liked your edit, so I will keep it.
  14. What if you do not like the Classic Start Menu. I really like the one they have now, and I always thought the Win 7 one sucked, LOL.
  15. By using the Beta version of Classic Shell for Windows 10 => http://classicshell.net/history/#v420 ~DP If you like the default start menu can I use the Beta version of Classic Shell ONLY to get the blur to stick?
  16. You can use small utility called WinID or Microsoft Spy++ to discover any window's properties. Thanks I saw it appearing as TaskSwitcherWnd, and made my bat the following: SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class TaskSwitcherWnd accent 0 0 0 0 SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class TaskSwitcherWnd blur true but it doesnt work, even as admin, the Alt+Tab is still completely opaque... But the basics are right, I even got my WIn10 Taskbar to shine in a nice orange instead of that brown... glass8.eu download section. I checked my ALT-TAB and it is transparent. Also @DosProbie, how did you get watermark off?
  17. On Bigmuscle's page http://www.glass8.eu/download.html download the Command line tool to change window's composition attributes at the bottom. Extract it. I put the SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe in Windows\System32. Then with Notepad I pasted in this: SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_TrayWnd accent 0 0 0 0 SetWindowCompositionAttribute.exe class Shell_TrayWnd blur true and save it as Taskbarblur.cmd I put it in shell:startup and copied it to my desktop. The reason I copied it to my desktop is that whenever I press the Start Button the blur goes away, and the taskbar reverts back to default. If anyone knows of a way around this I would be eternally grateful.
