I hide quick access because I never use it, and I like the look of the explorer window without it there. Just a personal preference. Since I never use drag and drop to the navigation pane it is not an issue for me.

I haven't had those issues. But I do still have dwm.exe crashes, and no symbols have downloaded for me. I don't have transparency up right now do to these annoyances, but I was running the 10130 debug with a custom themeatlas.png.

Of course we know build 10124 is out, and that is RTM. So far everything is running well on it.

So, whatever bug causing dwm.exe to crash, and restart in build 10166 is gone in build 10176! UPDATE: Windows Update just delivered a new Nvidia video driver which fixed this problem!

It is not possible to move apps such as store, and calculator from one monitor the the next. The app freezes with one edge barely on the second monitor, and dwm restarting over, and over. A quick sign out fixes it.

Ha ha! You were right! I had put in Sergey's theme to have colored borders, and it was mucking things up. Thank you very much Dreamweaver1. All is well now!

@NoelC I have a clean installation with this build 10166. Could you post a link to the themeatlas image you are using? Sorry I see your link! OK. I have 10166 with the 10130 debug files, also the UXThemeSignatureBypass. I loaded your themeatlas, and get this: Without themeatlas, I get this:

I have aeroglass working very will in Windows 10 Professional build 10166 x64, but have yet to find a themeatlas which will work with it. If anyone has one could he please provide a link so that I can download, and try it out?

It seems as if no one truly understands what I am trying to accomplish. It is NOT a problem to run Windows 7 games on Windows 10. It is NOT a problem to run SOME of the Windows XP games on Windows 10. It is NOT a problem to run EVERY Windows XP game INCLUDING the INTERNET games on Windows 7. IT IS A PROBLEM to run Windows XP INTERNET games on Windows 8/8.1 and 10. I want to run Windows XP internet games on Windows 10. I can run everything else. Thank you.

Well, it is very easy to run Internet Hearts, and Reversi natively in Windows 7. But with the later operating systems I have not had any luck. In answer to your question, I do not know what App-V is. I have heard of Hyper-V. What I want is a way to run Reversi natively in Windows 10 as I can do with Windows 7.

RTM is imminent. Today or Tomorrow. 10162 is not RTM, RTM is usually divisible by both 100 & 16.

After some investigation, it appears as if too many Modern Apps open on one monitor will cause dwm.exe to crash, over and over until my video driver shuts down. I have two monitors running, and usually keep a weather app, and a twitter app open on the 2nd. If I open, let's say Store, or Edge, and move it over to the 2nd monitor, all hell breaks loose. Massive flashing until video driver crashes, and I have to restart.

You need donation.key for it to work.

Remember Settings is a Modern App, and so is Edge. If you want to personalize your computer, check for updates, or make a change to something you stand the risk of dwm.exe going all weird. It doesn't happen all the time, but one in ten is frustrating. It is bad enough to cause the video driver to stop working. I would need to restart to get my second monitor back. It actually became so annoying I had to disable it.

To a certain point, with the debug for 10130. Also Modern Apps can, but not always, restart dwm.exe.

I would not DREAM of doing that! I use several of the Modern Apps rather extensively.

Well now I would have predicted that. But, if you run Windows 10 normally, with Modern Apps (including Edge, and Windows Update) dwm.exe will crash at some point. I think it also happens more if the App is open on the 2nd monitor, or if there is one already open on the 2nd monitor, and I open one on my Primary monitor, or if I am moving an App from one monitor to another. This does seem to exacerbate the situation, in any case.

No, I do not have ModernFrame.dll installed. It does not work.
