  1. Hello. I was looking around for cloud services that give encrypted protection (so people, or them can't snoop), and with decent storage. I bumped into this one cloud service called Mega (made by the same guy who made Megaupload) who is all about privacy, and quick access to your files. It's mainly a browser access cloud, but they do have a desktop syncing program called Megasync. The only issue is that when I run it, an error pops up, and states that qtnetwork4.dll cant be found. When I try to find and install qtnetwork4.dll, it just disappears when I download it. It's really weird. (I thought that qtnetwork4.dll was a Windows 2000, and XP .dll not a Vista one) I can't seem to figure out why it disappears when I place it on the desktop, and its really intriguing me. (if your wondering hidden files and folder is unchecked, and so is hide system files)
  2. Do disable ACPI. Curious though do you have sata or pata harddrive. This topic might help you with acpi (at least the quote of the post I'm referring you) http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/171303-can-an-acer-aspire-one-aoa150-run-windows-me/?p=1074828
  3. European soccer games, from what I heard from my German teacher can get very very very crazy. Apparently fans shoot firecracker/works into the field ... Sounds like my type of games . *Note note sure if my teacher was talking about his Germany trip, or Switzerland trip.
  4. That's another nice site. Almost forgot about them.
  5. Perhaps but the oldest version I can find (from 2010) requires KernelEx. http://classic-web.archive.org/web/20100611204417/http://www.dvbsupport.net/download/index.php?act=view&id=230 If there is one to be found it would be korean language only I guess. Ditto could not find one older than 2010 http://www.digital-digest.com/software/PotPlayer_history.html
  6. Copyleft the savior of Open Source --- Copyleft (a play on the word copyright) is the practice of using copyright law to offer the right to distribute copies and modified versions of a work and requiring that the same rights be preserved in modified versions of the work. In other words, copyleft is a general method for marking a creative work as freely available to be modified, and requiring all modified and extended versions of the creative work to be free as well.

  7. jaclaz Alright I'll check out this short story of yours. (is this the story http://www.bestlibraryspot.com/ScienceFiction/Asimov41/27323.html)
  8. SeaMonkey 1.1.20pre ---open source all-in-one internet application suite--- Download Read Below SeaMonkey 1.1.20pre release, is the last version of SeaMonkey to work on 95/98/ME. It can be downloaded here (this is the only 1.1.20pre I could find its custom compiled) http://toastytech.com/files/95browsing.html
  9. Actually that is a good point Jaclaz. I know this is old news, but its still an Important one. http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/27/politics/nsa-snooping/
  10. Video uploaded to youtube. Being put in spoiler at top. Here is the video if you are impatient
  11. Kind of so so. Really it was there, but very unnoticeable. The link to the kext page was on the signature of jumper's posts. (At the bottom, says kexter) Thanks. I look forward to it
  12. Speaking of this, does anyone out there, whom does use Windows Movie maker 1.0 tell us if its good, or not.
  13. The arguments I get into on YouTube, trying to put some light into Me's name.
  14. Thank you That link simply is there just to show credit to the people whom discovered this trick to allow certain newer programs to run. Information about kexstubs is here http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/157173-kext-diy-kernelex-extensions/ . To be fare you don't need KexStub for some of these like vlc, but you need it for others. Think of KexStubs as a minor update for kernelEX (Like kernelEx 4.5.2.1 at least in my opinion) You're statement here actually sparked an idea for me. I'll make a tutorial video of how to use UPX to run vlc 2.1.3. This will be good for me, so I can relearn what I learned in video editing, so I can practice for my YouTube hobby career. What UPXing does is compress the files of the program, so kernelEx can then run it. Of course you could Hex edit the program, but UPXing, is by far the fastest, and easiest option. Answered You are right there. The more info link is the introductory. Its were UPXing was found out. I'll update the initial post soon. With a Link to the Kextstubs thread, Where to download upx (and show two of the prefered gui's for it) then that little tutorial video.
  15. Windows Movie maker is listed as number 19. Windows Worst Features of All Time. http://www.pcworld.com/article/133191/article.html
  16. While searching around the web for open-source alternatives for Adobe premier elements (I have it, but refuse to use it since its part of the adobe kingdom) bumped into the the dead Vlmc project made by VideoLan (VLMC "VideoLAN Movie Creator" is a free video editing software, offering features to realize semi-professional quality movies, but with the aim to stays simple and user-friendly.). Before it died, they released version 0.20 alpha. I decided to download it, but a little skeptical since its only an alpha realase. Is there anything I should know about it before using it.
  17. Hmmm, but one must ponder what this track would do in times of war...
  18. Interesting I was just wondering about what he meant about when he said that in the xp 2019 forums, so its a no go way that way..., all well time to wait for presto open source.
  19. Would the Us even allow china to build it in the first place?!?
  20. Hmm but how about this little thing called out of any support. Would that apply to presto engine too. Dont mean to double ask this, but I think this might be a key.
  21. I don't see how changing their design is challenging Google . In fact I bet that M$ Bing is more of a threat to Google than duck duck go will ever be. At least Google gives the option to change the "tile" things now.
  22. Frustrating? No, this might be an improvement! Frustrating is the email service you guys already provide. Bare bones would make it less frustrating in my opinion :-) Agreed. Sometimes it just makes me wonder why people think, that more bloat = better.
