Ah yes I almost forgot. Any one of you who are willing to try and use POSReady 2009 should remove these registries There was a virus and Microsoft forgot to remove some of the registries.
-
Ja, I never did understand that. It had something to do with copyright laws. You would think MS would try and limit POS2009 with it, but no they didn't. Yes do take in jaclaz's sarcasm. He is the king of it just to let you know .
-
If it can install on XP, it should work on POS2009. There are minor differences to the two.
-
Rarity, and human greed.
-
But is it allowed to use POS2009 as an everyday OS? Why wouldn't it be allowed. It just wasn't geared towards home users.

Ok, is it possible to install to install Microsoft Office 2003 on Windows Embedded POSReady 2009? If I recall office was the only issue with POS2009 and did not work because of copyright issues, but if I also recall it actually did work for someone got 2007 portable to work and stated is was just a Placebo. Honestly I have no need for closed sourced office and use free options. .

TrueCrypt website warns users its software is insecure...
Flasche replied to lost_packet's topic in General Discussion
Believe nothing. Consider how a considerable part of Steve Gisbson's fame is connected to senselessly hyping otherwise rather plain matter facts and crying wolf over and over. Wait. (not making a fuss about it while waiting would be a plus, buit is of course completely optional) Some wise words : https://www.schneier.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt-search.cgi?tag=TrueCrypt Remember that (it doesn't matter if you used Truecrypt or *any* other encryption software) if "they" were after you, "they" would have ALREADY got you and all your bases ALREADY are belong to "them". jaclaz Isn't truecrypt open source anyway, so it really isn't dead anyway someone else would pick it up and continue on. -
I use POS2009 as an everyday OS. I found no difference between it and XP pro.

Mr. G and Jellybean: A Burro And Goat Best Friends Story

That is such a nice story. Glad too hear it too. Thanks Monroe for posting it here. -
Well, you are also probably pretty wrong, as the announcement was given on May 27: http://chrome.blogspot.ca/2014/05/protecting-chrome-users-from-malicious.html jaclaz Your were right, I was wrong. I was thinking of this. http://www.zdnet.com/google-unapproved-chrome-extensions-require-manual-install-7000000997/

All for your protection, you know . I'm pretty sure that the chrome blocking none store items was already in place for a while now.

Love It Or Hate It - Google Search: 15 Hidden Features
Flasche replied to Monroe's topic in General Discussion
Sure jaclaz Not sure what this means, but google hidden features have their uses. Its good for quick facts; search in google how fast can a horse run. (Though I'll admit it is stupid sometimes as evident if you search how fast can a cheetah run ) -

Hello and welcome to the msfn forum.

Bump Update: I've applied rloew's patch to My aoa150. I also applied the 128 gib patch for safe measures. I've installed the unofficial service pack for windows me (did not forget to move the files that the installer failed ). Then kernel Ex. After kernel Ex installed though I now get an error with update kb891711. The update gives an error message saying that it caused in error in MMSYSTEM.dll and will now close. I'm also struggling to install my WUSB54G since I cant find a suitable driver for the built in one. When ever I use the xcopy command to try to bring over the files with my bootable emergency 98 start up disk. It wont copy the files unless I break up the folder and remove the other folders inside the directory. Its weird since I did not do anything different from when I copied the ME files onto the empty hard-drive for installation and it had no trouble coping the files over.

That is the same thing I was thinking. In my thoughts I thought it would be impossible since IE is intertwined with the OS, so win 2k wouldn't adjust to the changes well. IE tabs won't work though .

^ a long way off from saying Moss can grow on the moon :-) So, if there is a hidden moon base, it would probably have to be at one of the poles :-) Mars seems to be a good candidate though. http://meteorite.unm.edu/site_media/pdf/BringingLife.pdf Maybe even Venus too http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/3299936/Venus-may-sustain-life-say-scientists.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terraforming_of_Venus

If you have Virtual Box you can just download a VM strait from there site https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Download

I find them similar. Though if your wondering about which one to use, I'd use Whonix unless you need a portable live OS, for Whonix is more secure.
