If you actually read info on his site and this thread you would know the License dies if you change hardware and you can generate a new License automatically without bothering him. That would have took less effort to do so than post the 3 moaning posts here.

1.3 is for Win 8 only.

Some reported issues but after initial Firmware/Drivers update on a Asus Z68 ROG with NEC/Renesas USB 3.0 I was solid and now on Asus Z87 ROG with Intel USB 3.0 also solid only its using MS drivers as Intel have not pulled their finger out yet and the early driver will not even install for many or do install and act up. I would expect it to be Firmware/Drivers causing issue. I still cannot paste here with IE11 (think it worked once) go to station-drivers.com and see what is there to update. My issues were fixed during Win 8 before .1 update and I have none since.

Even though mines was working for a few days, WU on Tues grabbed new Symbols so I seen the CMD window on 1st reboot. Still running fine.

It has been working for days now.

I has AG removed in Events so not sure how or when new Symbols came down as nothing in WU history but I enabled AG right now and it works on 8.1 Update 1.

Symbols will no doubt not be on WU till 8th when public get Update 1 (guessing).

@ BM : Not sure if same issue but press SPACEBAR and you see titles and menus.

Why should he and he also may not care how many use it or not. I do not get how tightfisted and demanding some can be. I donated within 30secs of seeing it on my PC with the Win 8 version and have never done so before for any software be it donation or paid for. I swapped to Win 8.1, no license issues and then swapped hardware, still no license issues.

When MS release Symbols with WU and that will not be till public launch.

I have Taskbar Blur, look back a few pages for screenie. Not sure why but I do not use this same way as most, I simply install a MS theme with a white/greyish Taskbar (horrid) and when I run AeroGlass it looks a funny blue colour then I tick a box in ClassicShell and I get a Vista type Dark Blurry Taskbar and I am happy. I then mess with setting to make ClassicShell set Start Menu to near same colour and my Windows still have a nice blue edge so the Text in Title bars is visible without messing with it.

MrGrim, if the update does not break anything you use (AeroGlass will be updated) and you even admit one aspect is an improvement WTF is the point in skipping it when you well know under the hood will be bug fixes and security fixes? I for one would prefer MS block PC's not updated from going online apart from to WU 1st after a period of time a major update is released. Once they install the SP or major security updates then can go back to normal use. All the n00bs with PC's that are not protected (I will not run SP1/SP2 etc etc) are making it worse for others, basically zombie PC's

Fixed my issue with Explorer Status Bar, Classic Shell somehow enabled its own version (looks different to Windows one). Not sure how this happened but its now disabled.

Noel I am beginning to think you have a screw loose. Me grabbing the update early has not done MS out any money as I paid for Win 8, you are a fool. BTW, reverse engineering/modifying Windows files is illegal, pretty sure MS care about that more than getting a FRE update early. Edit : Wow site works with IE11 fully now.

Less of the moral BS Noel, its a mini SP/update not stealing a OS and I own a legit MCE key give to me by MS. As if nobody here has ever download a movie or any warez if you want to go there. I for one do not care and I know MS do not care from my days as a Mod on Winbeta. They even paid a guy on the Winbeta staff to leak it until he was found out. Again I do not care that AeroGlass is not working, I can wait and only mentioned so other know it will not work as I simply forgot. The only glitch I see is the Explorer Status Bar is on and will not turn off by settings but I am formatting clean when its public and I have a .ISO of it anyhow.

It is the legit RTM from where I got the files. Legality or morals is beside the point and has little to do with AeroGlass. I can sit and wait on you updating when public, its no skin off my nose.

I installed the Win 8.1 Update 1 and forgot it would break AeroGlass.

It can sometime go back itself but normally a reboot is needed. Why can you not reboot, are you running a local Banks server than is a matter of life and death? Home users can reboot even warez monkeys.
