Yes I can replace the Taskbar but not the taskbar item buttons, those are pretty much hard codded and no longer themeable through the msstyles, here is a preview of my RP v2 with the RP Taskbar, I have removed the gradient in the middle though as I didn't think it suited the rest of the style and looked more like a remanent of Windows 7

Just tested these 2 programs and I can not see anything that looks broken, in what way are you finding them BROKEN?

I think I may have uploaded the wrong msstyles in the theme, this was an early one I had in a folder that I thought I had updated with my last save, I will upload the correct one, sorry guys. Theme updated with correct version now. Please make sure you are using OldNewExplorer as well, even if you don't check any of the options to change anything the theme will still appear allot better with the modified UI files I have made in the shellstyle.dll.

Very true Noel, just like the default atlas you can extract the one from here and modify it to your liking and then either add it back to the msstyles after your modifications or use it like you do your other atlas images with aero glass, in the next version I may consider doing a version with rounded corners as well

Yeah I know that now after I got hold of the RP msstyles, I will make another version closer to the original in the next couple of days.

I could do with the original RP theme msstyles, I used to have it but I can't seem to locate it now, all I have is the theme atlas, I have the original msstyles for the CP so I could use that depending on what was changed between the 2, looking at the images it looks like aside from the atlas there is very little difference as it still contains all the rounded buttons and so from Windows 7. I could give you a theme based on the RP but not an Atlas if thats something people may like.

Hi Noel, yes I know they can be skinned, that's no problem, I just want to know if it could be possible to revert them to the proportions they were previously, I also know they can be resized in system metrics but this still doesn't change the proportions of them, I know Tihiy has done some amazing wizardry already with the address bar and navigation button spacing so hoping maybe he has some insight on caption buttons as well.

Hi Tihiy, just wondering if it's possible to use OldNewExplorer to change the width of the Caption buttons back to how they were in either 7 or 8, this new style in 10 looks horrible, for some reason they made the max/restore and min buttons larger then the close button, I would love to have these back to how they were, I also dislike the new Task Item buttons as well, they are no longer able to be modified fully using the msstyles and this is terrible for themers like myself, I don't know if any of these things can be modified through UI files or not, I have not come across them before.

Win 10 10041 not working with SiB, could be because of new hook for the start button, it is now using a new classgroup TaskbarPearl in the msstyles.

One thing I have noticed with the latest build is the "hide user account picture" needs to be checked otherwise you end up with a large space at the top of the places list, this is a setting that is normally controlled by the msstyles User Pane > UserPicture I guess it's not a big problem as it's easily fixed with your settings, it was just something I noticed, I didn't notice anything wrong in the last 1.7.5 beta build it seems to of only happened in the last final release, so maybe it's something you could easily address.

Have you guys purchased the license, if not then this is the default behavior after the 30 day trial has ended.

You will need to unpin all them then paste this in the address bar %AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\StartMenu and it will take you to the folder where all the pinned shortcuts are stored, remove everything in there then recreate your pinned shortcuts in the start menu.

Same here, not working, it does still work with some of the options but ribbon does not hide nor does it show the details pane at the bottom.

Would have to agree, Tihy is still making improvements for SiB+ on Windows 10 even though they are bringing the start menu back, as long as there are still people interested in an alternative that offers better features as I am sure allot of people still are then I see no reason not to continue, I can bet you they will not bring back the blur effect even if they do bring back transparency, I bet they wont bring back inactive colored frames either, these are not features I am personally bothered about as I prefer no coloration or blur, but I know that there are many that do and appreciate the work you are doing.

Nice UI mate, looks like you have everything covered, you might want to consider hard coding the UI a bit though instead of letting the current theme govern the looks, I noticed with my theme it was a bit messed up, totally up to you though, I wouldn't expect you to make changes to support 3rd party themes, it's just a suggestion, great work though mate, much nicer then the one I made.

I believe this because not all explorer windows are opened in a 64 bit process so both 32bit and 64 bit must be enabled.

You cant honestly expect help on a preview of Windows 10, tihiy is a busy man, I am sure when it comes closer to release he will make sure there is a working version, all these builds are going to change rapidly, no point in trying to keep up with all the changes, no harm in notifying him of things that will need to be fixed but don't expect to see it for this build.

I think it's more then likely you are not using the latest build, I was running an older build on one of my PC's and noticed the same issue, updating t the latest fixed the problem.
