  1. No reply to my previous post concerning the use of Black Glass Enhanced artefacts in the last 2 released builds, (120 and 149),was there a reason there was such a drastic change from previous builds? Aside from the multi monitor problems the previous builds seemed almost perfect, was this the reason for the change that has changed the way aero glass/blur works behind the entire explorer window?
  2. Easier way is to close the DWM window while holding Ctrl and it will not load Aero Glass again, same as you would when starting your system. Thanks for the new build, only problem I have in this build and the last is it seems to have lost support for using "Black Glass Enhanced" this is a program that has worked since Windows 7 and every one of your builds until now, it makes the whole explorer window transparent and in the last 2 builds it doesn't work very well at all and just results in lots of artefacts. That would be me, I have been creating installers for myself and my members at Virtual Customs since BM started Aero Glass on Windows 8, there is nothing special, it just does all the same things you would have to do manually to run Aero Glass as a Scheduled Task and also adds a few extras like the Atlas Images, Reflection Images and BM's GUI as well as a context menu to access it. Those are all checked by default aside from the "Hide CMD Window at Startup" option which runs for 30 seconds at startup and and every 30 seconds there after as a scheduled task, The actual Glass Close.exe was posted by a member on here years ago that was created using Autoit and just hides the task from the taskbar, you can still Alt+Tab to access the DMW window when needed.
  3. This only happens if you chose the silver cream style, the shell32.dll UI files 23 and 24 need to be updated for windows 10, you can edit the OldNewExplorer32.dll and OldNewExplorer64.dll using a resource hacker like Restorator and either delete the 23 and 24 files in the STYLE_CREAM folder or update them with these UI files attached. Not sure if Tihiy can create a solution for this unless he makes a version for Windows 10 only. Note: These UI files are only if you are using Windows 10 and want to use the Silver Cream style, default and Flat White do not have any problems. UI Files.zip
  4. Works like a charm here using inno setup 5.5.5. Tested it with several of my installers. OK, thanks for the info, I am using 5.5.3, just went to their website and 5.5.6 is available, might give that a go and see if I have the same result. Looks like I was incorrect, it wasn't icon creation nor anything to do with ONE, icons are created just fine, my problem was related to a autoit exe I have run at the end of the installer.
  5. yes, I confirm these errors. I had problems installing amd catalyst control center, disabling I can install it. Can also confirm this problem with installers on windows 8 and 10, installers made with Inno Setup will hang on desktop icon creation, never realised it was related to ONE until now.
  6. Bug with latest version, renaming or creating new folders returns error "cant find the specified file", "The file or Folder does not exist" This relates to the option "Use Libraries, Hide the folders in This PC" Disable this option and you can rename folders again.
  7. that's not true, it's written at least twice that you don't have to buy new license. ++1.0.1 is out - Fixed immersive menu colors with third-party styles - Fixed All Programs default style glyph Thanks for the quick fix mate, I appreciate it
  8. Found a problem with using a custom msstyles, SiB will override the properties for the right click WIN+X menu, works fine when SiB is disabled. Can you make it so the menu respects the properties in the msstyles Immersive Start Menu?
  9. Works fine if you have the Atlas Layout file with the Theme Atlas image. CustomEnhancedDefault.zip
  10. Not bad, I don't like the new way it handles the active and inactive frame colors, it doesn't seem to respect the theme properties at all, I can use the GUI to change it to the colors I want but even then it seems the GUI doesn't work all that well and when saving it seems to revert allot of the time instead.
  11. I am noticing a bug with the opacity settings, every time you open the settings menu it gets reset to the default value. Also noticing with custom themes every time I hit test in WSB it makes the start menu transparent and all you can see is the text, no problems when logging out or restarting once it has been set in the options again though. Also just wondering if there is a chance you can disable the new Taskbar and Jump List and restore it to the old themed style if it is present in the msstyles like you have done with the start menu?
  12. This is because of the old Windows 8 shell32.dll UI files used, there have been a few changes that will need updating but it's nothing difficult to fix.
  13. The slider for that option controls the opacity, you can set it to be fully opaque or fully transparent or anywhere in between, I think the options are perfect just a they are.
  14. I guess you could have it round as an option but personally I think I like it square, maybe if you make it an option to try then we could give more feedback on preference.
  15. Working well in latest build 10162, only thing I noticed was the user picture seems to be a generic non changeable one now.
  16. Seems to work pretty good on build 10158, there is also an option in this builds for using full screen start without having to use tablet mode like on some of the older builds I tried, I tried the Ctrl+Win key for start screen and it works fine and pressing the Win key returns it to the SiB desktop start menu, if you try setting the Win key to open start screen it also opens the start screen on Ctrl+Win even if it's set for start menu, it also opens the start screen when you click on the start button, I also notice there is no shortcut displayed in the start menu for the start screen when the setting is applied. All the other settings seem to work fine, I like the option to have large taskbar icons, looks much nicer to me, start menu and taskbar coloring works fine as well and it's nice to be able to adjust the transparency.
  17. This is normal after the free trial is over, get a license and you will see your pinned and recent programs again, or continue to use it like that and just use the all programs to search for your programs, here is another tip for you as well, right click on All Programs and select open, then open the programs folder, put your shortcuts to your programs in there and they will show at the top of the list in all programs.
  18. I like transparency with colorization but I am not a big fan of blur, I tried the new blur and I didn't think much of it, it just didn't seem to have the correct effect and looking at BM's comment it looks like this may just be a test of some sort, but why bother to test if people like the blur if they are only going to do a half arsed job of it, just give people the option with a simple slider GUI like BM has made letting us adjust the amount of blur and transparency to our liking, is it really so hard and also give us back the sliders for the colorization, the preset colors re just wrong, they don't even let you have black any more, I can see some improvements in the GUI but it just seems like MS is going 1 step forward and 2 steps back, hopefully they will get it together before we see the final release.
  19. Build 10074 brings back Aero Glass with Blur on Start menu and Taskbar Disabled by default but can be enabled with a registry change. Goto: "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize" Change key: EnableBlurBehind to 1 (reboot needed). Not tested this myself yet, just some info I seen posted on MDL Just to clarify, Aero Glass with Blur is back natively without the need to use BM's Aero Glass in Build 10074.
  20. Thanks Tihiy, I take it your starting to get annoyed with Windows 10, not very impressed with it myself so far, taskbar is completely non themeable now and it looks to only get worse, looks like I will be sticking with Windows 8 unless we can find a way to undo all the bullcrap MS is throwing at us.
  21. No problems here on the latest build, just had to uncheck "Use libraries; hide folders form This PC" otherwise it would cause all sorts of problems, just used a registry hack instead to remove the extra folders.
  22. I made a very simple installer for this, not sure why BM hasn't released one to save all the hassels, I will post it if BM doesn't mind.
  23. Aero Glass still working on build 10049 but not straight away, it tries to find symbols first and then finds some sort of fallback to use, there is some noticeable artifacts in the windows though, setting the blur radius effect to 0 stops it though. Debug log
  24. Nothing exactly the same, there are other ones that can give everything a bit of transparency but all the ones I have tried always seemed a bit buggy, here are a couple that I have tried in the past, first one is System Transparency by Prisoner, I knew him on Seven Forums when he was developing this one http://www.sevenforums.com/free-developer-programs-projects/63796-transparency-project.html and also a much older one that was used on on XP that still seems to work is Glass2K http://chime.tv/products/glass2k/Glass2k.exe these are not like Black Glass Enhanced though and they will not give you blur behind the transparent areas. Added the system transparency file as you have to be a Seven Forums member to download System Transparency.7z
  25. Updated the first post with new RP theme, hope you all like it, it's about as close as your going to get.
