Are your Palemoon and Logitech Gaming Software versions 32- or 64-bit? I think 12.0.40660.0 is 64-bit-only. The latest 32-bit mscvrt120 might still be 12.0.21005.1.

Duplex should default to "auto" which should then auto-negotiate to full duplex. You can try setting it to "full" for all network devices. What MTU are you using? Make sure you set it to 1500, reboot and test for "Largest MTU" with TCP Optimizer. Then set it to that and reboot again. On T-Mobile this is 1440 for me. My TCP Receive Window is 128800. When setting the MTU, make sure you select the correct adapter. (I have four listed.)

If Skylake supports AVX and FMA3 instructions, you should use msvcr120.dll version 12.0.40660.0 or later: The article contains direct download links.

I use Microsoft's Windiff.exe on both 98se and XP. It does folder compare and/or individual file compare. - file version: 5.2.3790.0 (srv03_rtm.030324-2048) I have backup folder trees of source code for a great many versions of KernelEx. Windiff is very helpful in tracking the changes from version to version.

Welcome to MSFN.org, xtj. I use SumatraPDF 2.1.1 myself. Viewing a file in SumatraPDF 2.1.1, I see that libmupdf.dll is not loaded. Delete (or rename) it and try again. Libmupdf.dll is an optional component only used by some builds of SumatraPDF and usually doesn't depend on Ntdll at all (v.2.2 doesn't). With the latest KernelEx 4.5.2016 updates, Kexstubs is not needed for SumatraPDF versions up through 2.2.

Stack dump is missing, so impossible to determine who called ntdll!DbgBreakPoint. MS Debugger might need to be reconfigured to provide more details. An automated stack trace would be easier. Try debugging with VisualStudio, Ollydbg, GoBug, FineSSE, etc. You may also need to download and test with a debug build of FF53.

> What if one was to use an older version and prevent this Auto Updating that was happening, which eventually led for it to stop working? Worth a try. Old versions can be found at FileHippo: Dropbox - History. To disable updates, block v-client-*.sjc.dropbox.com (not sure of the exact string) in hosts file or: > Unfortunately, in my experience the Dropbox server will block access if it detects what it considers to be an out of date version. Boxifier has a setting "Block Dropbox Updates" that allows the previous version to continue working until Boxifier has a matching update. Dropbox might only work with the most recent previous version, however. > later versions won't now run properly Probably fixable as Vista is still supported. The client files can be patched without touching the system. Think of it as "recompiled for XP."

Server editions of Windows are optimized for best network performance, not user experience. Try: 1) reducing the number of services and background apps, 2) increasing the priority of Explorer.exe, 3) installing non-server Windows 7 (if available). Please report back to us with your results. Good luck!

KernelEx 2022 (Kex22) Test Versions (4.22.26.2)

Between 2015.3 and 2016.16 some of the core architecture in kernelex.dll has changed. It's nice to hear that kexbases.3 still works with kernelex.16, but in some ways functionality will be less than 4.5.2 final as some extensions have been moved back and forth between kexbases.dll and kexbasen.dll. I found TCPView 2.54 and it works with no problems with kexbases.17. It should also work with *.16. Use a process viewer that reports loaded module usage to check against my test run: TaskInfo2000: Name Base Size Version Description Company Full Path TCPVIEW.EXE 00400000 212,992 2.54 TCP/UDP endpoint viewer Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com J:\DOWNLOADS\TCPVIEW2009\TCPVIEW.EXE KERNELEX.DLL BFA00000 233,472 4.05.2016.17 KernelEx Core Xeno86 C:\WINDOWS\KERNELEX\KERNELEX.DLL KEXBASEN.DLL 7D000000 131,072 4.05.2016.17 KernelEx Base Non-shared Api Library Xeno86 C:\WINDOWS\KERNELEX\KEXBASEN.DLL KEXBASES.DLL BFA40000 282,624 4.05.2016.17 KernelEx Base Shared Api Library Xeno86 C:\WINDOWS\KERNELEX\KEXBASES.DLL ADVAPI32.DLL BFE80000 65,536 4.80.1675 Win32 ADVAPI32 core component Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ADVAPI32.DLL COMCTL32.DLL BFB70000 581,632 5.81 Common Controls Library Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMCTL32.DLL COMDLG32.DLL 7FE10000 184,320 4.72.3510.2300 Common Dialogs DLL Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMDLG32.DLL DHCPCSVC.DLL 7DD90000 28,672 C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DHCPCSVC.DLL GDI32.DLL BFF20000 155,648 4.10.2227 Win32 GDI core component Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\GDI32.DLL ICMP.DLL 7CE10000 24,576 5.00.1454.1 ICMP DLL Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ICMP.DLL IPCFGDLL.DLL 7C900000 28,672 5.00.1717.2 Ipconfig API DLL Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IPCFGDLL.DLL IPHLPAPI.DLL 7C8E0000 32,768 5.00.1717.2 IP Helper API Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IPHLPAPI.DLL KERNEL32.DLL BFF70000 471,040 4.10.2222 Win32 Kernel core component Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\KERNEL32.DLL MSAFD.DLL 7B410000 45,056 4.10.1998 Microsoft Windows Sockets 2.0 Service Provider Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSAFD.DLL MSVCR70.DLL 7C000000 344,064 7.00.9981.0 Microsoft® C Runtime Library Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSVCR70.DLL MSWSOCK.DLL 794D0000 86,016 4.10.2222 Microsoft WinSock Extension APIs Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSWSOCK.DLL OLE32.DLL 7FF20000 790,528 4.71.2900 Microsoft OLE for Windows and Windows NT Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\OLE32.DLL RICHED32.DLL 7F9D0000 184,320 4.00.834.839 Windows 95 Rich Text Edit Control Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RICHED32.DLL RNR20.DLL 783C0000 61,440 4.10.2222 Windows Socket2 NameSpace DLL Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RNR20.DLL RPCRT4.DLL 7FB90000 335,872 4.71.2900 Remote Procedure Call DLL Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RPCRT4.DLL SHELL32.DLL 7FCB0000 1,400,832 4.72.3612.1700 Windows Shell Common Dll Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHELL32.DLL SHLWAPI.DLL 70BD0000 278,528 5.00.2614.3500 Shell Light-weight Utility Library Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\SHLWAPI.DLL USER32.DLL BFC00000 69,632 4.10.2233 Win32 USER32 core component Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\USER32.DLL VERSION.DLL BFE70000 24,576 4.10.1998 Win32 VERSION core component Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VERSION.DLL WININET.DLL 76280000 458,752 5.00.2614.3500 Internet Extensions for Win32 Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WININET.DLL WS2_32.DLL 76000000 73,728 4.10.2222 Windows Socket 2.0 32-Bit DLL Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WS2_32.DLL WS2HELP.DLL 75FE0000 24,576 4.10.1998 Windows Socket 2.0 Helper for Windows 98 Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WS2HELP.DLL WSOCK32.DLL 75FA0000 40,960 4.10.1998 BSD Socket API for Windows Microsoft Corporation C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WSOCK32.DLL -

Last Versions of Software for Windows 2000
jumper replied to thirteenth's topic in Windows 2000/2003/NT4
> Just goes to show that "officially supported" and "won't work" are not synonymous. Huh? Let's hope not! Unfortunately: "officially supported" and "will work" are not synonymous. Fortunately: not being "officially supported" and "won't work" are not synonymous! lol -
> The KB3165965 update that I linked in older updates is correct. And the link to that update would be: "...?q=KB3164033 Vista" or "...?q=KB3168965 Vista" or something else? Also, shouldn't there be an ampersand concatenating "Vista" to the search term (instead of the space)?
-
> KB3168965: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB3164033 Vista If this is correct you might want to put a "[sic]" after it. These pages come up blank for me (in SM2.0.4), so I couldn't test it myself. :(

KernelEx 2022 (Kex22) Test Versions (4.22.26.2)

Please stop quoting the previous post. It's a waste of human and system resources. What is the name of the MSI installer app, what Versioninfo functions in Kernel32.dll does it call, and to what end (why)? -

In what DLL(s)? -
I also have the SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter and can sustain 4Mbps with driver SISNIC.SYS version 1.14.01.00. sl119.zip contains SISNIC.SYS 1.17.03. Win9x is optimized by default for Dial-up connections. Make sure your reoptimize it using TCPOptimizer, CableNut, etc.

ImportPatcher.41 - Find and fix dependency problems
jumper replied to jumper's topic in Windows 9x Member Projects
It just so happens that on Wednesday I dusted off ImportPatcher for the first time in two years. I've added auto-analyze for dropped files. I'm also displaying basic instructions in the text field at startup. I also need to add use of an environment variable for the temp file as I don't want all the extra writes to my flash drive when analyzing files from it (which I do very often). Folder support has been on the todo list for a long time, but probably won't make it into this next version. I will need to add code that treats a folder as a virtual PE file with dependencies on all the files in it. Full support for ordinals is a higher priority. The OS version in the PE header means nothing. The Subsystem version is important and is set to 4.0 if you check "Target Win9x". This is also functional when targeting higher OSes. -
> I do not know why palemoon devs added GetTickCount64 . Possibly to suppress warning C28159 in a Visual Studio 2012 static analysis. But what makes you think it was the Palemoon devs that added it? Why not Mozilla or Microsoft?
