If you need modifyPE you can get it here: http://unattended.msfn.org/advanced/hackedfiles/other.htm Also about 'replacing' wmp, it hasnt been done AFAIK. You might be interested in "Windows XP N" coming out next week in Europe, it has WMP removed in order to comply with the anti-trust ruling.

I hesitate to post, but i found an updated Soundmax driver for Asus. I believe the current version included in Sound_B is: SoundMAX AD???? (ASUS driver) (VI3) 07/15/2003, 5.12.01.3663 Asus shows an updated Beta driver dated 07/01/2004 (about 1 year newer) here: http://support.asus.com/download/download....V%20SE%20Deluxe I've known about this driver because some boards need it in order for the front panel mic and sound to work.

that looks alot like office 2003 does when using the luna theme. Does the blue disappear when you change the theme?

I use this to share them on a network, just change it to D:\folder\bookmarks.html Open Firefox and type in the address about:config. Right click on the page and select ‘New->String’. Enter browser.bookmarks.file and hit ok. Now you can enter \\Network\Folder\bookmarks.html as the value. Once this is set, restart Firefox. Thats it about:config New->String browser.bookmarks.file \\Network\Folder\bookmarks.html

In fact the 14MB photo in the top post should raise a question. Building 6 is still "standing" despite being hit by a huge amount of debris from the towers. Remeber building 7 showed little or no damage from debris because it was across the street and further away, yet it perfectly imploded on its own? In fact the photo shows no remnants of the center support columns, either because they've already been shipped overseas and melted down, or because the rebar reinforced concrete columns were blown to particulate! Real Conclusion: Building 7 had to be brought down by explosives - controlled demolition. The next logical question is it takes more than 5 hours to wire a building... Am I missing something, or am I the only one who cares?

Fire has a hard time reaching the temperature to melt steel. There are other buildings that have burned for days and did not come down, in fact IIRC no building has ever come down from fire alone. The way that WTC7 came down all the supports would have to fail simultaneously and equally. Also you can see the roof caving in before the lower floors where the fire was. Also the other buildings ( WTC 6) closer to the towers which were hit with a much greater amount of debris were still standing for days. I really dont want to believe what is suggested, but until evidence is given otherwise, its the most plausible explanation. Its greatly disturbing.

I saw something 2 years ago and i have been uneasy about it since, the "collapse" of building 7. Consider that its opposite the towers, had two office fires, yet managed to implode perfectly. Fires cant do that to steel buildings. I encourage everyone to find a video of WTC 7, it was almost completely ignored by the news.

This Sucks. BTW turn off the update check or disallow the program to access the internet. Its rumored Sony is behind this and is now the owner of the domain, and they could potentially get your IP if you use this and check for an update.

Religion itself is an example of an evolutionary meme. Christianity was not the first religion, but it evolved into a very aggressive one. The natural insecurities of man feed his attachment to absolute truth. Man invented religion from Cognitive Dissonance. Ignorance is bliss, and most humans don’t want to ponder the truth. What is the truth? Unless you like to be spoon-fed that answer, it's not so easy to swallow. Humans have an unconscious motivation for pleasure. Religion in particular is about comfort and assurance. Sometimes this is counter to intuition, and some people will violently avoid this dissonance. There is little doubt that there was a man named Jesus, whether or not he was the son of god is irrelevant, but the Prince of Peace would probably be very upset with Christianity. The problem with Christianity is it has been perverted. The perversion lies in the emphasis on authoritarian compliance against individual spirituality. The symbiotic relationship between the politics and religion is nothing new. Consider the religious themes in Personality Cults. From the Bible to Iraq people have been killing people in the name of God. Most people inherit their beliefs and those that assimilate do so mainly because they perceive it as the status quo. This is herd behavior. Consider the Sunday morning christian phenomena, in which people temporarily role-play what they perceive to be normal or correct and the church is the theater. This behavior is hypocrisy. I'll end here to keep my post short. -
I am not sure if everyone knows this, but the easiest way to setup firefox with a custom profile silently is as follows: You must first have firefox installed and setup a custom DEFAULT profile, meaning add your extensions, settings, etc. You can make a shortcut to the Firefox default profile: "%programfiles%\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -profile defaults\profile" Once your done getting Firefox as you like it, create a Self Extracting Archive of the default profile folder. ;The comment below contains SFX script commands Path=%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\ SavePath Silent=1 Overwrite=1 1) Install Firefox or Thunderbird silently using the -ms switch. 2) Create/Run Profle.cmd to delete the default profile mozilla creates. cmdow @ /HID RD /S /Q "%ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile\" 3) Run Profile.exe (WinRAR SFX) to extract you custom default profile.

Reminds of when in the Simpsons (S16.E8) Flanders kids ask him how could we have descended from Adam and Eve if they only had two sons! (despite what most people think, according to the Bible there was actually a third son, doesnt change the dilemma though) John Wheeler: "the only law in the universe, is that there is no laws". Obi-Wan: "Only a Sith thinks in absolutes". Also see Virtual Particles, Hawking Radiation, and Yahweh, Tetragrammaton, and YHWH. Btw its possible that a black hole could be used as an incredible quantum computer! And I am way off topic. -

I use classic view and have the "common tasks" in folder options turned off. I've never tried using the expanding control panel in the start menu, can someone post the reg tweak for that?
