you can turn off the bark... I suggested they seperate the wav file from the exe, so the user can easily choose a sound, still waiting on an update though. i doubt that your hard drive has anything to do with it. What SATA/RAID controller, or motherboard, do you have? you may want to ask Acronis support directly, because it may not have support for your hardware yet.

I don't understand why you're converting jpeg to tiff (lossy to lossless). Also just renaming a jpeg to tiff accomplishes nothing; why does it have to be tiff? According to Kodak's website your scanner can directly output to tiff. It also only lists 3 output formats, so something is false here. As for renaming files, use a program like Ant Renamer or ReNamer.
