    windows\system32\oobe\FirstUXRes.wim FirstUXBackground.bmp is background ... (black in this case) letters are part of PE procedure which you can't change (no certificate = file corruption) and that flashing crap down is part of those smaller images within same .wim which are located on specific coordinates which again you can't move coz (no certificate = file corruption) but you can remove them and have just custom background

    well I hit bit crappy setback... i took basebuilds back to sxs so now with base build files (of en_us, my language, and _none) without backup folder, its all 1.85 GB on x86 OS (was 750 MB but I think it was totaly broken hehehehe) this is my final clean probably, so can't wait to see your results

    PS is just addition, its not XP internal component... try looking for ngen service(exe) that shit is usually tied to .net 2 as it is its "optimizer" that runs when .net app is invoked

    coz it has crappy UI and you can't edit WIM directly, even if you mount it it screws things up hence why 7zip 15 is better to have NTTlite i didn't use as free version has limitations but if it suits your needs, by all means use tools you wish

    ah no no no no its older i just compared this one to 2012 standard - which was also offered free few months ago THIS one has copyright till 2014, while 2012 std has till 2015 THIS one can't save in x format (MSx) only open them, the 2012 can there is also version mismatch THIS one is 1.0.3515 the 2012 std is 12.0.3513 also when I started installation of THIS one, it gives me this:

    never failed me and still using it now to edit win7 sp1 + updates till 2015 + my modifications

    my advice: don't compress anything, OS is veeery touchy with these things just make plane removal/cleaner

    leave it, just remove x64 files manually if it has them version 1/1.1 is unneeded, remove it completely v2 isn't that big, IIRC it was somewhat 80 MB in fact the only annoyance was ngen service that chokes CPU when .net app is ran which you can disable

    since its not free can you then at least give us info (when done), how much it cleans on 32 and 64bit (in GB)

    %CD% provides current directory if script runs from extracted file, then that should be the variable used

    win toolkit is dog s*** out of all UI tools for modifying win 7, RT7 is best, trust me you can integrate drivers and hotfixes with it you can also put in any CMD or external program with it to run before 1st login, it works with SP1, so its not outdated at all, just the development stopped and as usually goes, you have to know what to "not remove" to not break the Installation/OS for direct modifying the WIM, you have free 7zip which actually replaces for me stupid win toolkit

    funnily win7 even if offers this info, its column is blank another XP superiority from my experience in past, that info IS correct (the date)

    seems new build is dumped on users that brings nothing except confession that "onecore" whatever the fuck that is, is integral part of winblows "10" and that crap connects all microslop products together (x-box, winblows "10", winblows tablet, winblows phone, microsoft glasses, microsoft wc)

    think working set is "best" as it shows "overall" use, private only shows memory that wasn't reserved, working set shows both nevertheless i got my answers, and thank you guys
