well there were tricks for XP too but why creating something new, they could simply upgrade code for SYSTEM to make things even worse, you can directly replace TrustedInstaller.exe with malware from either PE or host with WIM and then repack, and this is just noob approach what about those clever malware creators that nuke UAC and Firewall within 2 seconds

question is do we believe these updates especially last 2 one is for some shell code execution other is kernel user accounts security something but who guarantees there are no telemetry and tracking within them ? they can simply bull-shit out random update saying its critical and screw all non win10 users

win 7 uses RAM as it needs, you can't affect that you can only lower the ISO size (wim) and installed size that all comes with few glitches but speed mostly comes from less files to access disabled indexer disabled search disabled volume shadow copies disabled sys restore removed natural language removed sxs backup folder disabled defragmenter disabled superfetch disabled and/or removed .net 3.5 disabled hibernation disabled page file then you need bunch of reg tweaks that would run while installation is finishing but before user logons to desktop now you have foundation for lighter seven

nope install.wim has all files in sys32 and winsxs you can actually even after install compare if you modify sys32 file and sxs not sxs stays "original" but picking through sxs seems impossible cleaning that crap is waste of time
