I've had IE freeze/crash a couple times now since the update... do to some incompatibilities with web pages and IE's new stuff.

a little web searching 101: if you are having trouble searching for something put it in quotes... for example: "c:\windows\installer"

belive it or not, not all computers have a dvd drive, BUT just about all DO have a CD drive and if you are say... installing this on a friends/customers/whoevers computer its nice to know that you don't have to also swap in a dvd drive....

takes way more space on your cd that way.

well it depends what yo uare trying to do. if you just want them on the cd to have incase you want to install them later then you can just put them in any folder in your cd-root, the folder you listed here is for some other tools, mainly for network admins. if you want to have powertoys install when when windows is install i suggest you go to http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/powertoys.htm

ok heres my question, i only have/had the WINNTBBU.DLL fine on my cd, i dont have the compressed one WINNTBBU.DL_, is that ok?

is that a pro or home gold cd that you used? corporate? cuz thats small it seems...

maybe you had a boogie in your nose the whole day... you know just kinda hanging there and it was bugging her...?

check you bios settings... also you may have hanging apps... check the registry tweaks thread and in there the should be a setting where it auto kills apps at shutdown.

you can use non M$ themes with the patched file

umm..... or you could take areobliss and rename it to bliss.jpg then modifyPE it and the makecab it so you get a wonderfull little file called bliss.jp_ then put that in your i386 folder and walla you can rename your royale files and trick xp into thinking that they are luna tha same way... this way you dont need to use $OEM$ theres acctually a whole topic on this b4 that i started... I ment english speaking... and did you read the article? did you read my post? I didn't say they shouldn't release different languages, I simply said that ppl shouldn't complain that an english speaking company released english service pack initially that will be followed up by 25 more languages for free when they really didn't have to. Windows XP is a bit long in the tooth and its not like they are going to make tons more money off it now that they released sp2, in fact Microsoft probabbly spent more developing sp2 than they will gain in XP sales from its release.

i think ppl should stop being such babies, windows is an english product... so english is no doubt going to be released first... you know they very well could just say "screw 'em most ppl know english anyways...we'll just release this and be done with it." be thankful that they are spending the time and effort to put out 25 diff. versions.

nero 6.0.0.0 always had issues, download a newer build 6.3+ is fine.
