  1. Why don't you try this tutorial for a switchless installer instead?
  2. Updated to latest version 25/07/2010 Rev.3516 by xxl
  3. I can testify to its functionality, 5eraph I've tried it more than once in order to have a fully updated version on a new nLite CD and have recommended it through several posts. I must add that the product itself (the add-on) will only work with SP3 already integrated (if on XP).
  4. That is your problem; don't integrate them with nLite, use the program which is provided on their website. If I'm not mistaken (please correct me, it's been a while), you should do this AFTER you work with nLite, or else nLite won't be able to use the WINNT.SIF that DriverPacks create.
  5. Updated to version 0.7.34 for 32-bit versions
  6. Updated to latest version 07/07/2010 Rev.3507 by clsid
  7. Just by looking at the photo, I can tell you right away that it's wrong to use nLite on the same source files more than once. So, delete everything from the folder, copy the contents of your Windows CD in the folder again, and start over. This time, make sure that you do everything in one go (session). After you're all done, download a virtual machine, like VirtualPC or VitrualBox (both are free) and test your ISO for evident errors. If you're satisfied, then you can burn it to a CD. 8. KB982168.exe is a bit tricky. I solved the problem by extracting the three .msp files from inside the package. Two are meant for .NET 2.0 SP2, and one is for .NET 3.0 SP2. This last one is the one causing problems, If you try to install it manually, it will ask for Netfx30a_x86.msi . I got it from the .NET 3.5 SP1 full package (extraction again), pointed it to the folder and everything went well. I also had to do the same thing with NDP30SP2-KB982524-x86.exe. Hope that helps
  9. Hi, it's like the title says: I can't view new content as the only thing I get when I log in is: Sorry, no new content found. Should it make any difference that I'm logging in from another computer or even another country? I can see that there are new posts around the forums, and this computer is set to store cookies, just like mine back home. Cheers Edit: I can see this topic under New Content.
  10. Welcome to MSFN Look at this picture guide http://win-x.co.cc/nliteimages.html #15 "Unattended Mode". Choose the mode that best suits you; there are explanations for all of them. In the future, I'd like to ask you to post in the appropriate forums. This is about nLite and it belongs here http://www.msfn.org/...forum/89-nlite/ Cheers
  11. At the moment I am unable to find such a thing. However, this could be of interest to you http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8317&highlight=net
  12. Updated to latest version 15/06/2010 Rev.3476 by clsid
  13. Yes, I did get it to work. The updates appeared to integrate; I uninstalled everything and installed the new package, but didn't want to rush it until I went to Windows Update. Here are the results:
  14. Try using the "mkisofs" setting instead of "default" for the ISO engine. If that doesn't work, reinstall nLite.
  15. @krose I tested with the suggested changes and it didn't work again. Is there any way you could take a few images of the process and post them here or upload the files somewhere and PM me so I can grab them? This is not the first time I've used IExpress, so I'm a bit confused. Thanks in advance Edit: I just realized, by looking at the screenshot I posted, that the names of my files did not contain the "-x86" section, so it's possible the installer did not recognize them. I'll try that as well.
  16. You should also take a look at this for the Windows Media updates, since I don't see you're integrating Windows Media Player 11. One more thing I'd suggest is you move the updates' folders to a folder closer to the root of the HDD, for e.g. C:\Updates.
  17. Yes, and the best way is by making a new nLite CD. You can use your Last Session.ini to load the settings you tried before.
  18. @krose: OK, I tried your solution, and the three packages, although present in the folder, were not processed, which I could see in the Command Prompt window while the process was on-going. I would like to ask you which settings for iexpress you used. I used Extract only and Preserve long file names, giving the repackaged files the same names as the .msp files. This is my log file. 19. I already posted about this here krose, I will try your solution
  20. Well, did you try the simplest things first, like for e.g. a restart?
  21. Extract wganotifypackageinner.exe from the package, run it with /? through Command Prompt and it will give you the switches. Cheers
  22. NO, just check that the MD5 is identical to this one MD5 (B7336B61FA9D1A3529D131639A116FE5)
  23. Welcome to MSFN. Please answer to a request and a few questions so we can solve this more easily. 1. If you scroll to the top of this page, you will see a sign with red letters to attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. You will find it in the folder where you put Windows XP on your PC. Please, attach it. 2. Did you integrate a Service Pack (e.g. SP2 or SP3) with nLite? This can cause problems if you're not running nLite on an XP system (and I see you're not) 3. After you finished with nLite, did you start it again and work on the same XP install? You must always delete all the XP files in your working folder after you finish with nLite. If you want to run nLite again, you must copy the XP source again. Cheers,
  24. Hope this helps http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912309
  25. Well, this is not really an nLite problem. You probably have C:\ on your VM where Windows is installed and D:\ which is the CD ROM drive, so it can't unpack (write) on the CD ROM. As to why .NET Framework didn't install, I couldn't be too sure. How did you run it? If silently, which switches did you use?
