  1. Just to clarify, the principles I explained in several posts in that topic apply regardless of the language you choose; that's just for localizing. If you play around with it for a little while, you'll see it can do many things. I hereby take the opportunity to thank the developers for the excellent tool.
  2. Yes, I see. You want to run it, and then delete it. If you have chosen the application to execute in Temp, all you need to do is delete the contents of that folder. A clean-up batch file would do the trick. Here's a guide for the DEL command http://www.computerhope.com/delhlp.htm
  3. I'm not really sure what you're asking. Why would you want to delete a serial number you wanted to add?
  4. You're right 5eraph. But,... the tool gives 3 options: a true add-on, a SVCPACK add-on and a RunOnceEx .exe, so all the options are yet to be depleted.
  5. Unfortunately not, Tripedacus. The thing is I never do google search while I'm logged in with my GMail account, since that always leads to targeted ads in my inbox; the left-side panel is still (always) there.
  6. This has worked well for me (and obviously others) for many times Welcome to MSFN
  7. Updated to latest version 07/05/2010 Rev.3416
  8. There have been reported cases of users having problems when using nLite on Vista/Win7, especially when they try to integrate a service pack, like you are. This could well be one of those cases. You could try using nLite on XP (if you have one installed on a PC), or start up a virtual machine, install your XP on it and try the nLite process there to see if the same errors show up again. Otherwise, everything else seems fine in your Last Session.ini.
  9. luckstar, I have already posted my answer here Please do not double-post
  10. I think what you're looking for is here http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/82-multi-boot-cddvds/ It is also available on USB, for e.g. here
  11. http://esupport.sony...0JS&SelectOS=45 You didn't mention which version of Win7 you want drivers for, so it's set to Home Premium 64-bit. Welcome to MSFN Edit: please try to post in the appropriate forum next time; this is a topic for Device Drivers http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/88-device-drivers/
  12. See if you can boot XP in Safe Mode by pressing F8 before the flag page. Then open System Properties (right-click My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery -> Settings-> System Failure -> Untick Automatically Restart and restart the PC), so there is a chance you can see that BSOD page and tell us exactly what it says. Make sure to write down a line like this "***STOP 0x0000007B (0xF789E63C, 0Xc0000034, 0X00000000, 0x00000000)" and the name of the error, for e.g. "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" Edit: Welcome to MSFN

  14. I am not aware there is a v.10 lite out there. Where did you download it?
  15. Notes: It now relies on .NET Framework 3.5, so if it is not previously installed, it will offer to install the .NET 3.5 SP1 client. That's not really a problem, as you can install .NET 3.5 as a true add-on prior to Paint.NET. It has a nifty page with plug-ins here http://forums.getpai...ublishing-only/ . The silent switch (/auto) is from their official web page http://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/UnattendedInstallation.html System requirements: Windows 8 or 8.1, or Windows 7 (SP1 recommended), or Windows XP SP3, or Windows Vista SP1 (SP2 and Platform Update recommended) 800MHz processor (dual-core recommended) 512MB of RAM 1024 x 768 screen resolution 200+ MB hard drive space Optional: 64-bit mode requires a 64-bit CPU and a 64-bit edition of Windows Paint.NET does not work on Windows RT. .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 MD5: 407C2AC83E0A6AF81C9A4EBFE4A8AEF4 SHA1: 2FB31C97470F7EEA5286ED68DFCDDD87CEEE27EE Size: 3.61MB Get it here http://www.mediafire.com/download/5mdijmqvogz6joq/PAINT.NET_3.5.11_ADDON.7z or here https://www.dropbox.com/s/rzopn3nyiftrqnf/PAINT.NET_3.5.11_ADDON.7z
  16. This is what I get, just under Today's Top Posters
  17. Welcome to MSFN. Could you please explain in more detail what you are asking about?
  18. Yes. The installer contains some kind of a registry booster (WTF???), the google toolbar, GCHR10.exe (google update setup) and a file WINZIP145.msi . Extract the .msi file and run it with /qn switches and that should be it (unless you need the booster and the toolbar). oh yeah... please post in the Application Add-ons sub-forum next time you request an add-on.
  19. Do you want to make a silent install over network for other computers? Because you have already made an admin install of the Office package. Double-clicking would be enough http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011401931033.aspx But, I guess the answer you need is here http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402011033.aspx and here http://oreilly.com/pub/a/windows/2005/03/22/deploying_office.html
  20. Willpec, you are right about that one. It is stated in Siginet's forums.
  21. ROE (RunOnceEx) XP (OS) DNF (.NET Framework)11SP1en 20SP2en 30SP2en 35SP1en .7z is the version the Silent .NET Maker produces. I only make a SVCPACK add-on for .NET 2.0SP2, but alexFX has combined them all into one package. I'm pretty sure that if he opens the .7z file and extracts the .exe from inside, he can run it from RunOnce without problems or silent switches.
  22. This is a problem with the .NET Framework; a possible mis-configuration maybe? If you still have the .exe file created by the Silent .NET Maker, right-click it, open it with 7-Zip and check if the .inf file that shows up in the error is inside. Also, any chance you can attach _SNMsynth.ini ?
  23. Not really sure, but here's another tip: if you run IE8 from Command Prompt with the /? switch, you will get the switches to install silently from RunOnce. I'm pretty sure there were some options for the IEAK as well. Edit: I just tried the tool and the created installer does not contain the same files as the normal one; thus it's not possible to use the DXUPAC.exe tool Cheers
