  1. Can you state your question different please and if possible with more words...
  2. Not bad indeed, but this part: Scared the sh*t out of me and even worse my customers, let alone the extra shipping cost as not much stores have it or can get it (for now)... I like the Coolermaster HX212 by the way, they are cheap and do there job well, also are well made .
  3. It would help if you tell us on what reproduction-device you use that USB stick. No change it can be an ISO, but VOB files (MPEG2), MP4, H.264, XViD and DiVX could work possibly on some devices... Welcome to the forum by the way .
  4. Powersupply; But can you tell something more about how the HDDs go out?
  5. As far as I can see, this isn’t a "Software" problem but an "OS" problem, by using unofficial supported procedures/mods. Moving it back to the Windows 98 section.
  6. I would say "Manufacturing Fault" or it took a big hit...
  7. Now we still talk about the naming of products, Microsofts DX10.1 should have been named DX10a...
  8. If it only would work on any of the present chipsets; ATI too is screaming this out loud for some time... never saw any thing in practice. When they are relay "ready" for it I will switch my systems here for hybrid SLI/Cross-fire, would save me some big bucks in the energy* bill .EDIT: * And lower noise/temperatures too.
  9. jtdoom is working on it I think, and nuhi didn´t see anything in a direct integration...
  10. Learned something today .By the way, the first 9800 cards will have the "normal" G92 core, the ones after June will have the new 55nm based cores, so less power or higher speeds...
  11. Not all people seem to use it that mush as "we" do indeed. When you play Diablo 2 every day for 2 hours you will be happy if it gets an age of 2 years . Logitech gives 5 years on some of there mice...
  12. Just wondering, what CPU are you using?
  13. What I always dislike about these actions from Mircosoft is the fact that they only do this in countries where everybody almost has legal stuff; why don’t they do it in Africa and Latin America for example?
  14. Well, still it´s not legal what you are doing...
  15. Most common indeed, the "controller" chip inside the device got messed up. It must be possible to write info to it again but if it was that easy there would be loads of fake USB-sticks all over the place. I’ve tried it with some 1GB Kingston sticks but never got it working. They show a 2TB device with start-sector -1, figure that out .
  16. I’m using the MX610 now, not a bad mouse but not good when you use it close to a WIFI router. I had to use a USB extension cable to get the receiver close to my mouse (next to my keyboard). If you don’t use WIFI then it’s a perfect mouse for its money. The advantage of a laser mouse over an optical mouse is that it’s not getting "fooled" that fast with reflecting surfaces or surfaces with images on them. So, in general what Zxian said except for the laser part .
  17. Let me guess, most t*rrents are pointing at illegal activity?
  18. Good point... Pure scam... EDIT: Even worse, they make from a retail version and OEM version by just not giving you the stuff that makes the software legal . That´s just evil , I think I will do this with my customers too .
  19. Nothing to worry about, logic tells that more then 128 shader units would need more bandwidth, thus a 512bit bus to the memory would be more likely. Speculations about the 9800GTX are 384 shader units with 1GB RAM (GDDR3 or most likely GDDR4). Well, it seems they come out with the 9800GTX in a few weeks, and specs are clear now: + G92 based, 675MHz + 128 Shader units, 1.688GHz + 512MB and 256bit, working at 2.200GHz DDR + 3 way SLI + 300-350 USD range - 156W max. power usage So, I guess people will stay with there G92 based 8800GT/GTS cards .
  20. Well, the heat I won’t worry about that much, and problems with 4 sticks of 1GB on your motherboard I never saw, even 4 sticks of 2GB work well...
  21. So, you OC your FSB from 200 to 400MHz, correct? So your 1.6GHz CPU will be clocked at 3.2GHz (Celeron 420 or E2140?) Then you need 800MHz RAM, besides that, why would you buy 2x 2GB 667 and not 1x 2GB 800 extra? Also be prepared to "loose" 256 to 768MB of your RAM when using a 32bit OS.
  22. You leave me clueless; I would say something with VESA compatible modes in the Video ROM... Or just a Win2k problem... let’s see what others have to say...
  23. Showoff (points at 768MB Quadro FX 4600).Any way, I have to admit that I don’t have any 768MB or 1GB video cards around here, so I tested it with some, without turbo cache or that crap, 256MB and 512MB video cards and it still shows 3.5GB... How about that? o.O
  24. So it’s 2MB less then 3.5GB, what a rip-off .I didn’t know that Vista can clear the other 0.5GB, never worried about it any way as I’m using 64bit version of Vista/ Debian (9a) any way .
  25. Those are not transistors, those are capacitors and those aren’t your problem. Take the board out and make 2 pictures; one from the back and one from the top, if possible on high resolution and using www.kwikpiks.com to upload them. Remember to use the thumbnails to post here and the link to the bigger version .
