  1. Try to disable the IMAPI services of windows and other then Nero, did you install a burn-software? EDIT: Forgot to say: Your DVD burner is not a DVD-RAM drive, just call it DVD-RW but not a DVD-RAM . And b/c it comes with the laptop is should work like that...
  2. First you got a link of a 7600GS.... ..., but yes, 174 bucks would be a good deal and I would indeed say go for the 7600GT, altrough you have to pay 189 first. Nice finding, didn´t see that one, only some cards of 209 bucks or so. EDIT: Stange, you didn´t edit your post after it , I´m sure it was a 7600GS ...
  3. 7600GT you are talking about, not the 7800GT ... and the 7600GT is an other 30 to 40 bucks more. The nVidia 6800GS and the ATI 1600XT are the best in the 150-180 US$ range I beleve, especialy if you don´t play games higher then 1024x768.
  4. Yes, of course you would. Be nice! I would also have said the same, but the 7600GT is just the sucessor of the 6600GT and above the 200 US$.
  5. I still would say the 6800GS again, also after reading this review. Check it out, also the X1600 cards are there . EDIT: Even the 7600GT has to pull hard to win from the 6800GS, to bad the 6800GS has 12 lines and not 16, but still it kicks a** . (Man, I loved the 6800NU/LE AGP cards when they came out for 200US$ OEM, unlocked it and smoked it ). EDIT2: 1600XT can be an option too, 149 bucks...
  6. This would be bit better, it´s just over 150US$.
  7. Intel 100%, AMD 74.726%, 25.274% lower for AMD then Intel with PCmark, that’s how I see it, look at benchmarks and you know what I mean . AMD 100%, Intel 95.35%, 4.65% lower for Intel then AMD with 3Dmark, on the SM2.0 test, witch I would use when it comes to games. I just calculated it in my head, not with a calculator before, bad math, geezz .
  8. Just a lousy 5% for AMD on 3Dmark, and almost 25% for Intel on PCmark, ****... , there I go with 20% for AMD on 3Dmark and 10% for Intel on PCmark. Any way, AMD always comes last on PCmark, that´s no suprise for me... **** PCmark
  9. Yes, it´s an intake aimed at the cpu fan, it´s not an exhaust pipe . and indeed it keep your CPU a bit cooler, I use them too in my cheap a** 40US$ cases .
  10. Sigh, , yeah, we are talking about PCI-E , sleeping again...
  11. I think with 3Dmark2006 20% for AMD, with PCMark 10% for Intel... but I would like to see the results tomorrow .
  12. What kind of motherboard do you have? Brand and type please .
  13. If you live in the States yes, but outside the US you can´t order them. I WISH that I could buy them directly from them *cries*. Mexico SUCKS when it comes to hardware...
  14. What ever you buy, but don’t buy Maxtor, too much problems with those drivers. I like Seagate and Samsung at this moment more then WD, although WD is good but does not have the same speed as the other ones due to old drive design. Don’t worry so much that your motherboard doesn’t support SATA, PATA has the same average throughput as the SATA (II) drives, only the cache-flushes are faster (peek throughput) .
  15. We want information on server utilization: - How many user for each program, now and future - How many programs and all the program names, now and future - Traffic on server now and future - Investment price - And so on, … Just some more info on that please
  16. Who am I to say that Benq is okay when all other say Microsoft
  17. If that MicroSoft one is quiet the I think these ones could be in the quit list too, click here. I used the x800 and it’s easy to clean and types smooth but some people have to get used to the low-profile buttons.
  18. Reinstall windows and see if it works then, looks like some drivers are not working well, and I´m not talking about the drivers that come with the products, talking about "support" drivers of windows.
  19. How is your aperture-size set in your BIOS?
  20. I know it´s only for SLI, but I notished that somethimes, somehow the system runs "better". Don´t ask me why
  21. How many users are on it? If there are more then 50 persons working with it I would separate the tasks on more "cheap" servers for example and use a KVM switch to use only one keyboard, mouse and screen.
  22. Looks more software to me then hardware; Reinstall the drivers, if that doesn’t help reinstall windows again and don’t install so much crap until you tested your system a bit . Edit, I just checked your picture and I saw that the connector underneath the CPU isn’t used. Try to use that one too and see if it helps. Cooling doesn´t look like it´s a problem with the systemfan in the back.
  23. LOL yeah, what I wanted to say is: DON´T buy a laptop with a 4-cell battery .
  24. Then I would go for a CPU that uses less power, and make sure you will get a 6-cell battery.
  25. I just did. Above.. Tell us about it please, what did you do? How did you manage to write that OS to use it with Adobe Photoshop? and "VGA connections for high definition televisions and computer monitors" doesn´t say any thing, it´s just a connector, not the STANDARD. Sure you didn´t see that ATI kicked the words "HD-TV" out of his home-page .
