  1. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=48852&hl= probably wasn't accurate with files, only used tooltips and google back then... wasted so much time for a lost cause... but there you go...
  2. No I didn't download it. My friend gave it to me.
  3. Fraps records your game as Raw AVI, so yes it's going to be huge. But 500MBs for 30 seconds, no. I can play for about 30 minutes and end up with about 16GBs. You just trim it up in VirtualDub, encode to XviD/DivX with a bitrate of 1500-2000 kbps and delete the original files.
  4. I just said that the sound works in all other installed games, except for FEAR. No I haven't upgraded the drivers. Yes, I have onboard sound disabled.
  5. I've tried those drivers before, they didn't work for my card. The sound works fine any other game, but not for F.E.A.R. ...
  6. Any ideas why I have no sound in F.E.A.R.?
  7. OooOooo... Nice one...
  8. Riiiight... Nero 6.6.0.18. Best Burning porgram AND version of it IMHO. Haven't burnt a coaster CD/DVD for as long as I can remember be it data, image, music or video. Let me see, a burner application that's feature-rich, tremendous hardware support and top-notch functionality... why would I use anything else?
  9. Quite possibly. Use NOD32, Avast or Kaspersky to scan for viruses. Use Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and M$ AntiSpyware to scan for spyware. Don't use IE anymore, use Opera or Firefox.
  10. That's because AMD kicks Intel's a**.
  11. Clicky the Linky
  12. And that's the absolute end of it. Topic closed. lmfao
  13. Since the possibilities are endless when it comes to audo/video matters, I will point you to www.videohelp.com and www.doom9.org as they are the world of knowledge with A/V. I pray.. well hope... you find your answer. Edit - Well, since this is the first thing that popped into my head, I'll give it a shot. You're trying to watch it on your DVD Player? Make sure the audio is AC3 format.
  14. Not going to vote for any of them since I don't use All-In-One's. A router with strict settings, Sygate, Opera and common sense. All I need.
  15. Yeah, Hamachi is teh secure-s***.
  16. See how much hassle IE causes people. *sigh* Just use Opera/Firefox and your troubles are over. lol Sorry, I don't have much creativity this morning.
  17. lmfao
  18. PerfectDisk is the best defragmenter out there. Your boot time defragmentation will only make a difference of 750ms or something.
  19. Shouldn't have to with nLite. Not going with RAID anyway, doesn't matter. If I lose one drive, at least I have the other.
  20. Defragment Menu > Offline Defragment
  21. I integrated the Raid drivers with nLite and followed those exact instructions, but both drives appear as seperate. Any ideas? Bah, screw Raid. I just want to be up and running and having fun. Nevermind. Never had Raid before, never had complaints...

  23. I enabled and configured RAID0, striping, to use both SATA drives simultaneously but in Windows Setup where I am reformatting, it shows each drive as individual. What am I missing? I have 160GBx2 and I moved them both into the list of drives to form an array of, selected Striped and selected "Finish". It asked me to clear the drive data so I said yes, and then it showed both drives as one under "Array". But, in partition setup... they show as seperate...

    XP Secrets

    Neat... sort of.
  25. Even with the GeForce 7800 GTX X2 in SLI, you're only getting another 15-25 FPS in high resolutions. But, like they say, it's not all about frame rate anymore. However, how many games are designed to reep the benefits of SLI? IMHO, as of this point in time, it's not worth it. Hell, I can get 50-60 FPS in HL2 with everything on high, AA disabled at 1280x1024 with my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. I just got my GeForce 6800GS!!! Man it is HUGE. it's like.... 3/4 the size of a keyboard. It's really heavy. I think I'm going to have to stretch some cables/wires in my case to fit it in there, lol.
