1. I second that.
2. You simply can't aska question like this and get one answer. There are so many video encoders out there. Dozens and dozens. You use different ones for different types of videos. It really depends on the user's preference. I personally use TMPGEnc Plus.
3. I like IrfanView and HyperSnap.
4.
Newsgroups. The best. Beats anything else on speed pants down. Maxes out your bandwith easily, no uploading whilst downloading (teh ultimate leech) thus more secure. Not really easy to find stuff always but its well worth the hassle. Also, older stuff might be harder to find. And a smart guy dont rely on one app. only imo. [post="339264"][/post]
I've just started using NewsLeecher myself and WOW, 450-510 KB/s constant. NewsLeecher & BitComet (DHT Network Trackerless download feature), pwnz.
5. Excellently said, Zxian. I'm using Firefox but am slowly considering switching to Opera (again).
6. I already made a post 2 pages back that I forgot about, this one removed
7. I voted for the PS3.
8. Did exactly what you said, double clicked it, it opened and closed immediately and no new file was made.
9. CoRoNe's DirectShow Filter Pack
10. IE is dead. FF and Opera are the new wave. People just have to have a newsflash to realize it.
11. Ok, so I took the Nero install file (the 33 MB file that when you open it extracts the files and folders to the Temp folder. I extracted the Makeit.cmd and other files into the Temp with the Nero installer and double clicked, nothing happened. I'm tired and confused with this...
12. Ok, I did all that but nothing happens still.
13. I extracted the Nero files and extracted the Custom Installer Creator into the folder where nero.exe is located and double-clicked makeit.cmd but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong or not doing? I want to remove the following folders: Nero\Common Files\DSFilters CoverDesigner ImageDrive Nero BackItUp Nero Soundtrax Nero StartSmart Nero ToolKit Nero Wave Editor Redist Setup <Safe to remove? System <Safe to remove? WMPBurn Nero\CDI DosBootImage.img <safe to remove? .CHM files .MSG files .WAV files And anything else that does not have to do with extra features besides burning the types of discs mentioned below: (Such as imagegen.dll and karaoke.dll) I use Nero for Audio, Data and DVD Data and Video. Please help me out.
14. BitComet & Torrent Searcher Website. Downloaded 26 movies this week, many very rare ones you wouldn't expect to be online. If I want a song, I just download the album and that way I get my song and many others I might like. If I am being picky and want only one song from an album, I can deselect the rest and only download from a torrent what I want. Also, the newest version released today offers use of the DHT Network to download trackerless torrents. Earlier today I was about to get off the chair to go do dishes and as I sat up, a movie finished, then another, and another. A 3 minute and 1 min gap in between movies. It takes me a day or two at the most to download anything I want. I am in love with this program and have said goodbye to all other programs (Everything from A to Z, except for B ).
15. I used to use Shareaza but it's been sucking major a** lately. Doesn't connect anymore and does nothing but Pending. Really p***es me off. So I switched to BitComet. Several new movies will be done tomorrow and if I want to get a song, I just get the whole album and get more than I bargained for. Nothing but BitComet now. Very happy with file transfers now.
16. Here's a good tip. Don't use IE. Use Firefox or Opera. Cheers.
17. In a year we'll all have under 200 MB installs.
18. I'm not voting until I've reached the lowest size ever, to show it off! Haw haw haw! B)
19. Thanks!

21. 6 years, 7 years, no matter, still very old and progressively becoming obsolete. Of course no OS is finished when it's released. That's why Windows Updates exist. That's obvious, but ME really emphasized the word "unfinished". Yes, XP is bloated and that's why I use nLite. I'm very proud to use nLite. That way I trim the fat off an OS that has updated files on it and seems like Windows 98 because of the less files on it.
22. Sure, create a new e-mail account and close your current one.
23. No, it isn't. If you like it, power to you. If it was the most efficient defragger, I'd use it. I've heard a lot of bad things about that program in the past week. Knew enough from my own experience before hearing the bad reviews that for efficiency, it is by far not a favorable choice.
24. I know this list can be modified in User Accounts > Manage Network passwords, but isn't there a place in the registry I can remove usernames from it as well?
