  1. Is it possible to turn an XP desktop to an OSX Desktop? Thanks.
  2. I've got the Software, just wondering if it's alright to install it? Any problems with it?
  3. Anyone Installed It? Opinions? Thanks!
  4. Thanks, nice to know I'm not the only one it's happened to.
  5. I have a Microsoft Optical Mouse Ser#3902C693. Should it stay all lit up even when the computer is off? Thanks.
  6. Just installed FF1.0 and so far I like it. Some of the extensions and themes need updating but that's a minor inconvenience! If you want to try it out just go here. http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir...eleases/0.10rc/ Enjoy!
  7. Sygate 5.5 Pro....Nothing has got in and nothing is getting out!
  8. Been using Firefox for about three weeks now and while I was at it tried Thunderbird as well! Both IE and OE are a distant memory, I don't know why it took me so long to make the change! Hope Mozilla comes up with an OS soon!
  9. The only negative thing I have to say about SP2 is that it has slowed down my browser (Firefox) and my email client (Thunderbird) start ups! Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.
  10. Open all folders as Thumbnails? Some folders open as lists, some as tiles. some as icons, some as filmstrips and some as thumbnails. How can I get it so they all open up the same preferably as thumbnails? Thanks.
  11. No browser is 100% perfect! I left IE because of the almost weekly disclosure of securety holes and the time taken to patch it and you can't radically change the functionallity or look of IE. I've even left OE for the same reasons. After looking around the net for a week I decided on Firefox. There were a few reasons why. - vastly more secure than IE with security patches available within days instead of weeks. - Extentions to change the functionality of Firefox. - Tabbed browsing. - Themes to change the look of Firefox. - Built in Ad, spyware and Active X blockers. - A great email client in Thunderbird. - Users, who unlike MS, care about their browser by making their own improvements and sharing them with other Firefox users. Now no matter which browser you pick there will always be hackers out there trying to find holes in it, they live for the challange. You go with the browser that is right for you and for now Firefox is right for me
  12. I use Firefox and with the exception of Windows Updates will never use IE again.
