  1. Only thing you needed is to format your C drive and everything works fine. Then try to reinstall OS. Enjoy.
  2. after slipstreming sp1 and if u make it unattended u can insert new key through vlite. also u can remove key after installation also by using slmgr.vbs commands.
  3. compatability u can find yourself by once creating a full list of all removables. then ticking one by one. for ex media centre compatability needs 16 components to be hidden. interenet explorer need internet explorer as well as microsoft html engine.
  4. In actual intel releases EMT 64 cpu that can capable to run 64 bit but they are not actual 64 bit cpu. I think after windows 8 there is no more 32 bit releases then the question between 64 & 128 bit processing. also stoping 32 bit means dump of lot of processing power means about 60% of harware in a developing country like INdia. it cost too much. Also there is more problem related to ewaste.
  5. Yes u can use 7 zip to extract and see inside wim files.
  6. I am a little bit confused as same stuff found in boot.wim also. I edited winpe only and it works fine.
  7. lsass.exe file is corrupted. try to extract lsass.exe from xp source and replace it with that.
  8. may be you remodified previously nlited cd. Try from the scratch and it works. Attach your last session.ini found in you nlited xp source.
  9. Open ur control panel. then internet options. you found offline files option there.
  10. Is some wireless device in range of headphones. this type of sometimes comes because of wireless exchange.
  11. There is no such problem as I m running XP x86 & Vista x86 with 16GB of ram. Can u specify which type of errors or which error u get.

  13. New one is always better than old one. Not a full recreated OS but still worth to upgrade from vista. Movie maker and some other stuff removed. I like to wait for Windows 8 that may have noticable difference to vista. Thumbs up as compared to early longhorn builds as it is not sluggish during installation. Installed in only 14 minutes as compared to vista SP2 ultimate 17 minutes
  14. Apply new thermal paste on processor & grease processor fan if you mean PSU fan is processor fan.
  15. May be the problem with user name. Try an unattended.xml created by vlite and edit this answer file further with waik.
  16. it is some problem with your vlited cd. try to remake from scratch & burn iso at slower speed.
  17. cpi:source="wim:h:/vistahdd/vista_images/en_x86/sources/install.wim#Win i found this in your unattended.xml file means all your files first compiled into install.wim. after copying file when extracting phase started & power off pc. then boot from pe iso and that install.wim to other partition.
  18. reverse integration is a solution for installing programs.
  19. may be some hardwre malfunctioning try to tighen all cables . remove newly installed hardware.
  20. if boot sequence is right. press enter coniniously till boot begins. it helps.
  21. IF the windows 7 source is on your laptop try to extract iso and then install through windows. if it is on other computer try to split into cd size & then rebuild iso. winrar can be used to split & rebuild iso.
