My Browser Builds (Part 5)
YouTube's comments history & live chat, both claim NM28 to be "unsupported browser", which obviously misinformation / false claim by Google, because both of it would work if I simply override the user-agent .

My Browser Builds (Part 5)
Speaking of non-conformant, I've encounter issues with CloudFlare CDN that its refuses to deliver the resources (IMG, JS, CSS, and so on...) if I were using New Moon, but they do it just fine if I were using different browser, but I did not like using those browsers. So I trying to override the User-Agent but the result were the same, such CDN very likely checking for something else. It took me quite a while to find out that what being checked were Referer. I didn't knew when it started, but its seem that more-recent browser engine new-default behavior would not send full referrer URL if the requester hosts did not match target hosts. In the picture below that would "www.manganelo.net" and "img-r1.2xstorage.com". CloudFlare very likely using that as an excuses to ban services to ""older browsers"" that did not conforms. Is there any setting in about:config or extension that I could use, so I did not have to open Inspect Elements & View Page Source every time such issues occurred, while I'm waiting for the New Moon updates?

Change useragent compatibility to Firefox mode. Tools | Preferences | Advanced | Compatibility User Agent mode: EDIT: alternative method Or you encounter website that dislike Firefox compatibility useragent that above method implies, you could add "general.useragent.override.x.com" string in about:config that x.com likes.

Man Throws Away 7,500 Bitcoins, Now Worth $7.5 Million
as for now, Paypal will bann any accounts if it was known to be used for anything bitcoin related, like buying/selling ASIC/coin-mining devices, or exchanging bitcoins for other fiat currencies, etc.. I remember reading that Paypal cited that too much transaction fraud happned involving bitcoins, so Paypal decided to bann it all, even if both both seller & buyer actually doing a honest transactions.

KB2670838 IE 10
you can try experiment by uninstalling that KB and blocking that specific KB patch so it wont be installed again by windows updates, using workaround like this: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\HotFix\KB267038]"Installed"=dword:00000001 then try to see if installing IE10 and/or IE11 afterward would cause instability or not. Don't forget to set up a restore point, before starting the experiments.

Bing just got incredibly slow
probably due to the new Windows 8.1 default search setting that forward windows search term to bing, and feed users with (un)wanted ads. http://community.bingads.microsoft.com/ads/en/bingads/b/blog/archive/2013/07/02/new-search-ad-experiences-within-windows-8-1.aspx

Smallest Actual Flash Drive Size ?
I personally dislike the slim usb connector, as they usualy doesn't work well with USB cord extension (Standard-A receptacle) due physical problem. The Standard Type-A USB connector/plug is good, why they feel the need to mangle it?

IPB Update July 2013 (to version 3.4.5) - BUGS Only
This known bug that IPB url parsing are a bit off if the urls contain the ' (apostrophe) character(s). I do encounter some other urls that contain apostrophe. But as always the IPB dev said it was not a 'bug' http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html/_/ip-board/link-is-broken-if-contains-or-r40575 and thus shows no desire to 'fix' it. anyway, this is IPB fault in general not the MSFN.

Windows 8 - Deeper Impressions
This add new "Steam-Envy" to the list of Microsoft's sickness. XBox division are envying the steam business model, but they hates the fact in steam model they need to actively use discounts to attract sales.

But if you remember the old yahoo-mail url (check your browser history) , you still able to access the yahoo mail classic. as per today, yahoo hasn't delete the old assets (.js ; .css), yet.

Does that really mean what I think it says -- that in Firefox you can't use the Escape key any more to stop one of those interminable web page loads?? --JorgeA I already suspecting something like this would happen, when i notice most recent browsers UI began omitting the "Stop" button. "You can press the 'Esc' key dude" that what they told me before, when i ask why they removing the stop button back then.

it seems Microsoft knew that fingerprints would be annoying on touchscreen, so Microsoft made the cleaning guide. Unlike Apple that hinted that regular cleaning of touchscren would diminish the screen quality, Microsoft however, suggests that users should cleans the touchscreen frequently.

Installing New Windows XP Updates
its prudent to wait a few weeks before installing the 'update' especialy if such updates was to address 'problem' that has no real-life case. The October 2012 'security' updates for example,. there no such "security-problem" case ever reported, but the updates are known to degrade the NTVDM subsystem.

June 2009? and just a month before Nemulator version 2.0b1 released ( release date: 2009-07-07 ) ? Somehow I got this vibe that folk at MS reading CharlotteTheHarlot's post above (#1317) about Nemulator and informing her about it, which prompts the Granny to 'moves' the date from 2010 into 2009 accordingly.

Having Excel without Macros/Add-ins , what would be next, power drills with no chuck but a fixed 6 mm steel drill bit, adjustable wrenches fixed to 13 mm? jaclaz somehow i got this feeling that MS would said the crippled Office-suit decision were based on (dubious) 'telemetry' result.
