I think, there is a time that internet is not longer needed. Then there will be a better way to do what you do now, but then much better.

I have 2 sata drives. the mobo is MSI PT880 Neo. All worked fine, but today i decided to re-install windows. I did it with norton ghost, but it screwed up my drives. Even my ide drive is unreadable!. So I decided to do a fresh install. when the raid bios is on, sometimes it recognizes 1 drive, but when i continue with XP install and press F6 for loading the VIA driver from floppy, it ends with NO drives !!!. sometimes it the pc recognizes NO sata drive. is there a way to test that the sata drives are connected the right way ?. If the mbr and so is screwed up, is there a way to renew that ?. And at last: the driver which is loaded after F6, where is it put and how can I manually delete that ?.

Hello, I'm Ruud and from the Netherlands. I'm desperate at this moment because my sata drives aren't recognized anymore. 4 hours installing sata drivers but no result. So I hope to find the right answer here on this board.
