  1. Ok buddy thanks a lot for this so am i right in thinking that on my XP .iso image (once i make it) i should create the following folder structure; $OEM\$DOCS\All users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ then put shutdown.bat here (after creating seperate folders for each bit eg Start Menu). Thanks again for this m8 very much appreciated Stoner81
  2. Ah ha!! i think i have it sorted out now though still a little niggle is that the driverpacks finisher does not stat until after the WPI which is run from the $OEM$ folder in the commands.txt file so if i add this shutdown to it if i dont get the timing right the machine will shutdown and reboot before the driverpack finisher has finished. But still thanks for the help very much appreciated : Stoner81 EDIT - i see now its due to the $OEM$ it copies it to the HHD i think the folder is $DOCS but not sure where to go from here.
  3. DUDE!!!!! Thank you so much for your quick response on this matter it has been driving me up the wall!!!! I will test it on and report back on what happens thanks again!!!! I think it just goes into the $OEM$ folder with no sub directory but i can't seem to find anything else to say otherwise???? Stoner81 :
  4. I use VMware Workstation myself awsome piece of kit to have!!!
  5. Ok guys here is the situation... I have made a XP Pro unattended DVD (due to the large amount of drivers in it) now it uses the driverpacks from driverpacks.net (thanks for these guys) and it also runs the WPI too. The problem I have is that the WPI installs NOD32 v2.7 but it requires a reboot after installing. Once the desktop is shown is there a way to intergrate a command into the setup which will run the reboot command once the desktop has loaded? Thank you in advance Stoner81
  6. w00t im mega happy now!! have been hoping this was goin to happen ever since they released it for the consoles!!! Thanks for the info guys Stoner81
  7. If you have the old drivers from the previous one then I would remake it from scratch since this imo is the best option. If you dont then there shoun't be a problem but I have never done it the way you are talking about im afraid i can't see any reason why it would be a problem and cause conflicts??? Hope this helps Stoner81
  8. 1. DDR4 is faster than DDR3 2. I hate ATI cards always have since games are designed around the nVidia chipsets, im currently using the nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 320MB DDR3 and im only on a Core 2 Duo and so far i have not been able to max out my system with a game at all!!! Its an awsome card but power hungry needs about 24-26amps on a 12v but it has two sockets to use for power so make sure to get a decent 750watt PSU for sure. Hope this helps
  9. Threatfire uses too much system ram in my test it uses at least 10% just to run it in the background and shouts at lots of things which i know are ok. As for Spyware Doctor so far its bin the best one I have used (and I have used a few) NOD32 is THE BEST antivirus system that is out on the market today virus bulletin have given Eset their 49th award which you dont get for being crap now do you?
  10. Install NOD32 v2.7 boot into safe mode then run a full system scan this should sort you out Hope this helps Stoner81
  11. ConvertXtoDVD is probably the best one there is since its so easy to use (i use it all the time) it will create a folder its name being the name of your movie, inside u will have two folders; Auido_TS Video_TS Now you just use ConvertXtoDVD to burn then to DVD just select the folder in which the other two are stored and bingo!! Hope this helps i can make a tut for u if u get really stuck Stoner81
  12. Does this work coz I hope so!!! Thanks for this i hope this worls for version 2.7 Thanks again Stoner81
  13. I like the sound of this but has anybody actually done this ever? Since those registry entries can be made into a .reg file and then including after it has installed. By doing the above does this enable all the options that are normally available during the attended setup of NOD32 (im using v2.7 i hate v3) More info here please folks!! Thanks in advance Stoner81
  14. I haven't found any way to do so yet. The Unattended Setup is part of nLite you just need to input the needed info for it like your licence key etc etc Hope this helps
  15. Not sure if this is even possible without starting again buddy I have not been able to find anything on this to help you out Sorry dude. Stoner81

Im using PC Tools Firewall Plus which is free to download from http://www.pctools.com/mirror/fwinstall.exe So far not had any probs at all with this in any way and its no where near as twitchy as ZoneAlarm (Comodo works the same way as ZoneAlarm but you need Your Uninstaller 2008 to remove it fully) Stoner81

  23. From what I have read it seems that Windows 7 (Vienna) will have many of features that are featured in Vista like the GUI but all the securtity cr*p like UAC will be removed. Why they just didnt overhaul XP in the first place I don't know they could have just pimped up the GUI and made it DirectX10 compatable (as well as other tweaks) and theres their new OS without upsetting every man and his **** dog!!! Me personally im not holding my breathe with Windows 7 since MS made such a cock up with Vista but having said that though here's hoping kinda thing Stoner81
  24. I had the same problem until i copied the syssetup.dll file from my C drive after installing XP and putting it in the same folder as the program and hey presto all in English. Thanks a million for making this program m8 i have now since made my own billboard to use and it worked from the first try i was really impressed!! Thanks again bro! Stoner81
