There are two way to execute it. 1. Using binary editor it is safety. Resource hacker can't replace string in VERCHECK so you should use binary editor. 2. Using to replace file it is dangerous and take easy. and the instructions on your site, which I ran through Google translate: Does this mean I should try replacing ntoskrnl.exe in Windows 2000 with an XP version? It looks that way from the screenshot, as there is a newer ntoskrnl.exe compared to the ntoskrnl.exe.bak file. From the other screenshot it appears that I would be replacing the string "ntoskrnl.exe" with "shlwapi.dll" in that line of VERCHECK. Would shlwapi.dll also have to be borrowed from XP (if ntoskrnl.exe also does), or is the 2000 native one all right to use? What does the "nul" part refer to in the first quote, i.e. would I be leaving some parts of this string blank? Is Resource Hacker considered a binary editor or is another program necessary? I downloaded the "Windows Media 9 Series" visualization (wmp9viz.exe) from Microsoft.com and tried to run it. Says it will only install on XP I tried extracting it and installing it from the .inf but get an error: "Installation failed". Hi. Here is my Windows 2000. If you use Extended Kernel Core, you can use XP or 2003 Drivers. And 3rd party's USB 3.0 drivers also can work on Windows 2000.

If you check off option Vista MUI, it is not stable. If you download v2.6a5, it was not found any problem. (v2.6a4 and previous version has problem) You had better try game version. v26aG-ENU.exe i had pretty much a fraudian Slip on the 2k3 part (was in a Skype call w/ 7 people.) and 26a (" Windows2000-KB935839-v26a-x86-ENU.exe " ) and its Services.exe i've seen teh same secnario some years back but it was with something that wasnt Compatable w/ KernelEX :/ ( i think back when UURollup was using Wildbill's Kernel over yours.) i'm not sure as before this popped up i hardly used the system so i'm entirely Unsure whats installed. if i haveto redo everything again any New updates that have comeout (UURollup / USP 5.2 etc?) that i should be using ? and what about DirectX? Hi. v2.6a has some bugs. On the part of environment it occurs BSoD. I released v2.6b on 2nd Dec 9:00(GMT). I recommend to use it and it is better that using game version (v26bG). If you can use recovery console . copy $NTUninstallKB935839-v26a\kernel32.dll to system32. I don't use UURollup and USB 5.2. Dependency walker F7 profiles makes multi windows when you checked auto open child process. I think Perhaps you saved the file of top level windows another child process''s one.

Can you try to replace lastest GDI+ 1.0 ? - run Windows2000-KB935839-v26bG-x86-ENU.exe - see %temp%\IXP00*.TMP and copy gdiplus to vista folder. - press OK (you can change)on option window - continue setup - you can install extended kernel NT6.x mode with most recent version GDI+ v1.0 (5.2.6002.23835)

Umm.... I may be misunderstanding. Does the problem occurs also Vanilla Windows 2000 ? If it is not , I want you to check scan Exkernel dlls from other environment AVG 9.0.
