Now I can test only VMWare Environment.(I'm not at home.) Page load spent about 30-40 seconds at first time, at second time and later about 20 seconds. The shockwave UI showed 10-20seconds after it shows page with blank UI. On my environment it spent time as same as GDIv1.0. What does your Shockwave Player version ?

Antivirus in 2015 for vanilla W2k?
blackwingcat replied to pointertovoid's topic in Windows 2000/2003/NT4
Here is Extended Kernel v2.6b(GameFix Version) ( It will be released soon). I try to install AVG 9.0. It seems to work fine. In this context “vanilla” means a standard W2k Pro OS installation running with no unofficial updates and no modifications--and we find that AVG 9 works fine. However, when we try to use AVG 9 with unofficial updates involved, there are problems. -

If you use old version extended kernel, try to replace new advapi32.dll.

Hi. 1. It is possible without WLAN Util use WLAN API. (Extended Kernel has stub only.) 2. It is possible, but too complex and need many time and there is little benefit for me so I does not embed these functions.
-
Umm. It seems it has no problem with Engish version extended kernel Game Edition 5.0.2195.7236.) I recommend that you try to make the dll which has minimum kernel extension and check it. Yes, it's fixed in KB2508429 v17, which has srv.sys 5.0.2195.7371. I just double-checked the file in IDA and it's fixed. On another note, I'm still plugging away with my kernel32.dll rewrite. I had thought it was ready, but I found a bug when I run Seven File Replacer -- the GUI doesn't render properly. I've been slowly verifying the routines that it calls, but Seven File Replacer is a hideously complex program for some reason, so it's been really hard to track down.
-
Hi, WildBill. Have you fixed srv.sys critical problem? 5.0.2195.7368 and 5.0.2195.7369. http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/149233-kernelex-for-win2000/page-27#entry1106699 I can't find your announce. I apologize if my post to the problem is fixed something you have already taken care of.

Root Certificates and Revoked Certificates for Windows XP
blackwingcat replied to heinoganda's topic in Windows XP
That with the version number has to do with "WU" or "MU", where the version number is read from the registry and officially the last relevant version numbers in "rvkroots.exe 5,0,2195,0" as well in "rootsupd.exe 40,0,2195,0" are crucial, which may result in deviation to the last (older) official updates from "WU" or "MU" are installed again until the version numbers match. (This situation have been May 2014th) As reported by "dencorso" has been carried out correctly, you have to do this only once and must in future download only the "*.sst" files and archive again in "rvkroots.exe" and "rootsupd.exe". Umm, I know last relevant version numbers in "rvkroots.exe" is 6,0,2195,0 on 2014 July and Windows Update's rootsupd.exe replaced older version since 2014 Dec. (I dont' know reason, but I had same situation on Windows 2000, ) http://web.archive.org/web/20141212230530/http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/rootsupd.exe v 41,0,2195,0 Please see "Certplus Root CA G2" 1.2.840.10045.4.3.3 = sha384ECDSA Here is my Windows 2000 Screen shot. It can't recognize sha384ECDSA cert. It uses rsaenh.dll (5.1.2600.6834) and schannel.dll (5.1.2600.6838) But recent schannel.dll has 1.2.840.10045.4.3.3(sha384ECDSA) code inside. -
Root Certificates and Revoked Certificates for Windows XP

Hi. Why "40,0,2195,0" ? Recent rootsupd has version "41,0,2195,0" on March 2014. Yes. You can edit both strings manually from 38 to 40 all right. And. yes, once is enough. You don't need to change them again ever afterwards.
